Jess wraps the cloak of feathers around her and thinks about the voice; masculine?

It didn' sound sleezy... more tired... gender? Harder to guess

"Okay... whatever you heard, let's commit it to memory mmm?"

Jessica nods, and repeats the words she heard to Clem.

Clem repeats them back "Jessica, we're gonna want to write that down. Should we head back befoe we forget?"

"I guess, yes......" she looks around; are they near the trailhead? Where are they?

Back at the bike

Some tourists gape. On man leers and starts to pull out a cellphone... but before he can, Clem looks him in the eyes "I hope that's made of Chocolate because once you use it, you'll be eating it"

the guy puts the cellphone back

"Crap." Jessica mutters "Get on the bike." she sounds resigned.

And they go... Clem says "Well, can't say it was dull!"

Jess doesn't respond; she gritting her teeth too tightly as they roar along, feathered cloak rustling around her and barely covering things that she STARTED the trip with covered.

they return and come into Fenix.

Constance sees them "Why are you dressed as priestesses?"

"Priestesses?" Clem looks down at their outfits "Well, feels a bit less tacky when you say that"

-Jessica's- outfit is firmly covered with the cloak.

"Is Otem around?"

"Yes. I had some books on local native cultures...and their costuming... that sort of outfit meant you were good to talk to the gods"

"And yes he is" She says

"Could you ask him to join us? Well, me....." she glances at Clem.

"need me to butt out of this one too?" Clem inquires

"I just thought you might want to change."

"I take it you're not? "

"I need to talk to Otem first."

"Fair enough. " Clem says "Good luck"

"Thank you. Come on back when you're comfortable."

"Constance, can you and Otem join me please?"

"Miss Clem? Keep the Cloak... it appears to be a minor treasure" Constance says, then bows to Jessica "Yes, Countess"

"Thank you." She keeps the cloak around her.

And with that, Clem goes to change

and Jessica has a meeting set up with Otem annd Constance

"Constance, will you please take notes? Otem, something happened while I was out with Clem....." and she tells him what happened.

Otem gapes, and...kneels "Yes, priestess"

"Otem, please, don't...." a helpless look at Constance "I'm not a priestess."

"you are... or you would not have been perrmittted... Jessica, you.. you spoke to... the closet thing you would have in your legends would be the Tuatha. You've been annointed"

"Otem, can you tell me what the words meant? About ... the sky weeping tears of blood and the sun staying red and the last of the stones and all of it?"

"Now at you are annointed, I feel free to tell you..everything"
