And suddenly, Jessica has caught the wind!

Another squawk, and she tightens up a moment; she starts to lose control and forces herself to trust her instincts.

And once she lets go, she gets it, the hawk flies by her side

She tries to find the right balance, where she's thinking about it and in control, but not TOO much.

And she finds it

"Are't you a pretty damn bird"

"Come on, higher" CLem assures

Jessica climbs a -little- higher.

"Oh lorrdy Westward... " the hawk mocks her "the sky is ours, don't settle for just a slice of it"

Jessica focuses on keeping that balance.

And she flies over a stream, she catches the reflection.. ad sees what kind of bird of prey she is

Not that she was an ornithologist to begin with....

A black body, white chest and head except for a patch of black feathers slicked back on her head like a toupee. Hooked orange yellow beak....

She's seen birds like this around, but doesn't know what they are called.

And suddenly, she's having fun

"It's natural..." She says as they fly over the moutain

Jessica tends to fly lower, wings flat, skimming the ground.

that's when Clem calls out "oh wow. I think I saw.. ... Oh Jessica, it's beautiful"

Jess beats her wings and climbs up to where her friend is.

And she sees i, magical, chimerical... an hidden unless you get high eouggh

Jessica joins Clem and marvels. "It is. But let's keep our distance."

"Definitely..."

She hears a voice, the sun light sparkles "Chosen One"

"Did you hear that?"

"Only thing I hearr is you..." Clem admits

"It is my duty." she says simply.

"Okay, what's yourr.. you're not talking to me, are you?" Clem realizes

"I don't know what that means." she responds, knowing Clem will understand.

"Do not feed the humming bird. Ready the Circle. Seek the Wisdom of Waters"

"I still don't understand, but I will remember these words. Who are you?"

And the sun seems to dim just a little, the voice gone

And both ladies find themselves on the ground, wearing a cloak of feathers

"What the hell?" Clem blinks

Jess staggers slightly again, disoriented by the sudden change.

"Clem... you ok?"

"You okay?"" she says at the same ttime

Jess chuffs, but takes a moment to assess.
