She stops, and forces herself to take a breath or three. Or eight.

Breathing is good.

She goes back out to the living room, and takes a seat. And a sip. And waits.

For how long?

A bit. She is thinking. And, truth be told, enjoying the silence and solitude.

It's nice, and she calms as thhe hour unwinds.

A final deep exhale; she looks around the apartment, kenning. Anything out of place or unusual, new, with that Sight?

Mmm a bit of dross hidden on the top of a dresser. no doubt more reserves

She tries again, looking especially for spells or cantrips, survailance devices.

She nods, rises, rinses the glass and stows it, and leaves; minimal traces of her presence are left.

Everything as it was

She returns to Fenix and seeks out Tito Woden.

Tito-Woden is a bitt more mature than before, but only a bit. He fires away on his Hex Box , video games blazing in hihs room

She knocks.

"Come in"

And when she edoes. he has pressed pause "Countess? Somethingg you need?"

"Yes. Can you set up a... watcher, or a ward, or... some kind of surveilence cantrip at my apartment?"

"Tatttle tale is one I'm good at. I't not constant, but I can check in now and then. Why? "

"I just want to know if anyone goes in there, and what they do."

"Done!" he offes with a grrin "your seer is on the task!"

A pause "Can I finish my game? I'm.. close to a high score"

"Yes. I'll go back with you; let me know when you're ready to leave, please."

"Sure"

15 minutes later ... he is ready to go "Darn boss battle"

"Lets go." Jess is less than concerned about the boss battle, but soon they are back at the apartment. "What do you need to do this? I will want to enter alone and cast some cantrips myself for a bit."

"Oh? Well, what else can you tell me about what or who I am lookingg out for?"

"And is there an object of te who or what I can use?"

Jess nods, unlocking the door. "Come in." she goes to the hat "I touched it, but I didn't wear it. Otherwise, there are items here I found but did not touch."

"Oh, oh, we're after HER" he sees the hat

"La Cernicala, I've ttrried tracking her before" he says "Devil of a time"

"Can you tell me who came in and out of here?"

"that's Chronos, that's a sidhe art normally. It migh work better. "

"What about setting something up to let us know when the apartment is entered?"

She turns the hat over in her hands, looking at it.

"Huh.. yes. I could so that"

She nods. "Will you excuse me a moment?"

"Sure, I'll work on a way to spy o whoever"

She nods, and retreats with the hat to the room with the supplies ... and there she Whispers it.

She detaches the feather gently, kisses it, and tickles the hat with it.

And it lights up !

"Who made you, hat?"

"The moth of quick fingers"

"Why were you made?"

"to cover a head"

She tickles the hat again, with the feather.

"What is the real name of the one that last wore you?"

"I don't know. She didn't say, none of them say" It answerrs "they arre all La Cernicala"
