Jess nods. "Well, if you trust me to order, I'll bring some food in. Without your promise, that's the best I can do. In fact, even if you don't trust me to order, you'll see an improvement in your meals."

Jess taps on the inside of the door. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

She checks to see if Necropsis (or any other Fae) are around.

"I'm going to get some food for Destiny; you want anything?"

"A nanny who knows how to apply sedatives safely..." Necropsis says "And a steak"

Jess nods. "Maybe some carne asada tacos?"

"Whatt I said" he nods

"Back in a bit." And off she goes to buy out a taco stand or two.

She'll load up with a couple BAGS of food; tacos, empanadas, burritos, rice and beans, sodas and fruit juices, heck, FRUIT for that matter....

Nick is still there "What you got for me ,thunder thighs?"

A troll with an armful of bags? It's a LOT of food. "Some of this will keep; her appetite is back. Can you some of this for her?"

Jess offers him a bag; pretty good food, light on the veggies and fillers.

He takes it "Cool. "

"Thanks. Is there somewhere out here we can bring her to eat?"

"You mean do I have a table for 3 near my bordello pick up?" A brow

"Not looking for a dining room, Necropsis, just a flat, stable surface."

"Cm'on" he leads her to an alley way and... there's a table that looks stolen from the outdoor part of a McDonalds o such. Possibly was "Little glam and johns thik thhey're in a five star with Scarjo's slutty neice"

Jessica clings quietly to her utter ignorance of whoever Necropsis is talking about. "Thank you." She sets the bags down "Do you want to ask her to join me, or should I go get her?"

"I think she pissed I drried her out and beat her scrawny ass with a stick"

She nods. "Do you want to join us for the meal?"

"I got to feed tweak and hold her claw" He explains

"Ok, then. I'll go invite Destiny to eat."

And unless Necropsis has a comment or objection, she does.

Destiny can smell the food and opens the door "Shit, you did it. Thank you"

"You'll find I keep my promises. Come and eat. It's not much, but it's out of this room." As they go, Jess is careful to position herself so she removes any avenue of escape.

Destiny follows. Her stomach growls

Jess nods that she should take a seat, and goes about unpacking the food; there's a LOT. She is also blocking the way out of the alley.

"All this is yours." she says quietly "It should keep ok for a while."

"Thank you" She takes a seat and digs in, after aa few wolfish bites she says "I'm sorry if I was bitchhy to yo uearly"

"You were hungry." Jess observes "And you've been sick. No offence taken." She sits down too, and takes some food.

"So, how well did you know my brother? I know he knew you"

"Not well enough." she eats "He was funny. Made me laugh, sometimes from exasperation. I will never forget him, and I honor him."

"yeah, he was a pain in the ass, but he made folks smile" a fond look, even as she resumes eating "He took care of me though"

"I didn't know he had family here." Jess admits, ashamed.

"He lied a lot, hard to believe him even for me"

"He ... used to pay for my painting hobby. Told me I could be famous if i wanted, and happy " A sad look "Like I said, he lied a lot"

"He wasn't lying about that." she says firmly "Do you want to paint again?"

"I'm not good enoughh to make a livinn a it. I tried to get a patreon, he got me hooked"

"I know of some art dealers up Norte. If you have some work, I could see if we could get them to sell it, maybe get you a stake? And then you could afford to work again?"
