"Hola," the Cupid says "You prefer men or women?"

"None of your damn business." and she GRABS for it with both hands to capture and disable it.

"ACK... HELP! I am being handled Sans Care! Someone call the Society for Prevention of cruelty to cupids!"

But it was not expecting to be grabbed as it politely asked her preferences, so she has it pinned, arms to it's side, though it flutters furiously

The lady at the desk says "AH, wait, are you supposed to fight love so hard?"

"Love is not love when it is forced or false." she keeps her eyes on the cupid as she says this, and gives it a little squeeze.

"OWW.. but it's not false, any more false than a satyr's passion or a troll's duty, it's part of the dream..."

"Love from one of your arrows is not love from my heart. I don't want it."

"It will open your heart... let me go and I'll show you"

"Uhm.. you're not hurting him are you?" The assitant asks

"No. Thank you, I'll see you next time." she carries the chimera out "My heart is just fine and I don't want your influence on it." she still has a good grip on it.

"Tell me, miss?" the Cupid asks "Who hurt you? That you should turn against love? Did..did you fall in love with the wrong guy? Was he mean?"

"Because I would NEVER set you up with a mean person. I have an eye for this." the cupid head bobs

"None of your damn business." she says grimly as she paces back to Fenix.

"it's not just my business, it's my purpose. I am a dream of love and romance.. okay yes, some Cupids are more into the raw lust ,and I try not to judge, but I'm a Hallmark Cupid, not a 'you must pay for this adult entertianment channel' Cupid"

"You need to find another target." firmly.

"Oh, well, I'm sorry, but the powers that be direct me, not some countess with issues about romance in her life" He huffs. "I'm drawn to those who hearts are closed. I'm one of the good guys. I know, I know, that's what bad cupids say but....it's true"

And Demos starts to say "Hi Bo.... what the hell?"

"Help," The cupid starts to say "I am a dream of love, and romance, and being brutalized by one who is ignorant to her own heart and... oh poop you're a redcap"

"Demos, can you take care of this for me please? I've declined its services." she offers to carefully pass the chimera to him.

"Sure" he takes the Cupid... and SWALLOWS it. It goes down with a scream, and is gone

He belches, "Damn thing is going to give me indigestion"

"Um. Well. That's.... taken care of." she feels a little bad but..... chimera aren't protected, after all. And chimera aren't allowed to threaten Fae in enaissance so....
