"Countess" he bows, then says "Jessica" And gives her a hug

And she hugs him back. "Vali!" with a slight grin "What brings you? Is everything ok at Rivervale?"

"Couple of people banged up and half frozen, but we're good. All accounted for, but sounds like you hadn't heard. I was going to send Siv to tell you" A brow lift "But she tells me you don't want to talk to her unless it's where you can order her around."

"Come on in; we have some pretty amazing hot chocolate and churros." She leads him in to sit and they get snacks "Tell me everything; you said everone's ok?"

Snacks suit Vali fine, and he says "Where to begin, one might say it started for us with an Ailil wanting a trod. Before that though, there was a Centaur on a quest, and before that? the White Witch of Narnia legend fueled by Fomorian masters wih plans to cast all of apples into winter... by spreading winter nightmare by trods, and keeping firebrands hostage" he takes a sip of hot chocolate to let that sink in, and perhaps build up the antici... pation

"Way to start the story at the end, Vali." Dryly "So it -started- with a Fomorian White Witch, went to a Centaur on a quest, and then ... an Ailil tried to take a Rivervale trod? Olgar must have put a stop to that....

"The Firebrands were freed from the Fomorians?" she asks for clarification.

"You're getting ahead of the story" He smirks ignoring the double standard for him in his favor, and he does tell the story, fractured by imperfect memory and spread viewpoints, it may seem more like myth than history, but moments of herosim arre found for all, and some damn close calls.

Jess sips a cocoa too. "Wow. Good work everyone, and glory to Rivervale!"

"Actually, Silverwolf and it's Dogs is getting a lot of the positive press out of this one"

"But yes, we're proud of Olgar, Sylvi ... and Piper and Jordan!"

A pleased look "Piper really took most folks off guard"

She nods. "I met her once. She came here with a kinain boy."

"She's really come out in a lot of ways. Practicaly Sylvi's right hand at Goldfinch" He says , "Anyway, balefire before Imbolc, and all is well"

"Good." A drink of cocoa.

"Vali, you had to come here to tell me this in person?"

"Well, actually, I asked Siv to fill you in... and she surprised me. Said you didn't want to talk to her unless it was at a place were you could 'boss her around'?" H e arches a brow "Now I thouht you'd just want to know, and that constance might want copies of the notes of the event. But if your sister feels like you and she have tension, I do get curious"

"I appreciate the information." she confirms "Do you have time to meet with Constance?"

"I have some notes to hand to her" A tilt of his head "Jessica. Is there some reason you're acting deaf about whatever is going on between you and your sister?"

"Would you like another churros?"

"No." He says and looks, not angry, but dissappointed

"Ok. I'll check with Constance, make sure you two get a chance to talk. Thank you for the information; I could have called and found out, but not like this."

He hands over a slim booklet of notes, "Here. Just hand it to her yourself. " he rises "I have duties in Rivervale, and it's obvious I've stepped into an area you don't want to discuss. As my concerns for you both are unwelcome from you both, I best focus on the paperwork at home."

"Thank you." she takes the book "I won't keep you from your duties...but are you sure you can't stay?"

"I could, but... Jessica? I'm asking questions about two ladies who are almost like famlily to me, and getting stonewalled as I were a stranger. It's hard not to figure I and my concerns aren' welcome here. I don't know what's going on. truth? I first figured it was Fiona Drama... but clearly there's something botthering you about the subject too." He sounds concerned "But if trying to help is making it worse, then I should go"

"Ok. As long at you're ok with it. Give my best to everyone at Rivervale?"

"Okay with it is.. not the right phrase. Just trying to give you what you want- whatever that is, and maybe keep you and your sister from falling apart." A troubled look

A nod, and he bows, then heads towards the door to Rivervale
