The oddest thing, all over Tijuana... it's snowing

oh not to mortal eyes, of course. But purely chimerical flakes drift down.... crystaline and sublime

Salma looks up, and smiles, but then shifts over a little so that the snowflakes don't fall on her book.

some of the snowflakes kinnd of curve in, almost mischievously to try to land on it. Fortunately they're not very agile

Her tail swishes. If these were flies, she could swat at them. Instead, she gives them her best Librarian-style LOOK. "Not on the PAGES." Sternly. "Or I'll have Senora Rosa turn up the oven and melt you all away."

Almost falling over themselves to apologize (Maybe they are) they divert around the open pages rather than land upon it. The snow picks up, and some lands on her ears, but not on the pages

She hides a giggle, and sets her book aside. Instead, she picks up one with a Christmas theme. Just to please them, and reads aloud, extoling the virtues of Navidad, decorations, family, and yes, of course, snow.

After all, just because Snowflakes have such a short lifespan, just a twinkle in the sky before they melt, does that mean they should not enjoy stories? No, the very opposite!

As she tells the stories, the snow flakes fall in tighter patterns, like litle pixels of nature and dreams, they start to create images of the very story read to them! She narrates, they act it out!
