She blinks. "But... are they real?"

"Oy yeah" A grinn "It's a chicanery working"

"So she won't be disappointed?"

"Oh there's stuff for Elllie, Ariel, Holger, Adler...well, the whole gang"

Jess pauses. "If the books aren't -here-... Salma will be sad." she says patently, gently.... like her father.

"Yeah, she's a born wizardess that one"

"Or scholar. Or whatever she was born to be."

"Zane, I'm more grateful than I can say for what you have brought. At the same time I don't want my people hurt. In any way. Childlings too."

"Uh, I would agree. But.. I don't know why you think anyone would get hurt here?"

"If they can't have what the bookshelves promise.... my childlings will be sad."

"AH.. no I should be clearer . the chichany working was hiding it, but it's really there. AND has a tadaa kind of fun surprise, It wont be hidden from her after that."
