Zane looks about the place

The satyr remembers the kids fondly, but he's on business

Depending on his business, Jessica is handling County business in the Balefire room.

And he goes into line and waits.. He's offered a drink, annd takes it, but holds ontto his satchel while Jessica deals with locals needs and wants.

Currently, Jessica is getting reports the dragon having been seen flying in great loops and it's making folks nervous.

"My cats are freaking out" One bookish boggan explains

"They have my apologies." Jessica says gravely "Please take all necessary precautions, and let me know if there is anything you need."

The boggan mmphs, but bows, and is offered a bag of cat nip, which plactes her

and off she goes.

The next request is a pooka, of gray hair (And gray hare) , the grump says "The line is getting another dot. Would you sign your name on the dot 3?"

"Constance, please add that sighting to the map, thank you." Jess murmurs to the scribe.

"Um." Jess tries to decypher that....

Costance nods and marks it down

Tonto says sheepish "You see, when two pooka love each other VERY MUCHO... well storks are vicious... and then, thenn one day, they go after your kids"

"I don't approve matches. OR children!" Jess says incredulously.

The Gray hare pooka says "OH, you.. you do not wish too I ...." her face fall "I did not mean o burden you"

Jess, sure she's missing SOMETHING, looks to Tonto.

Tonto mmphhs, then gets an idea, and races off, leaving even other pooka confused

Then she returns with a baffled and fussing Maria "Put me down, you idiota jester!"

He plops her down near he Grump pooka, points... then steps back

"Marie.." the Hair pooka smiles "You look ggood. Thank yoou SO much for the tacos for my daughter. It builds up her birthing hips"

"Not what i made, but you are welcome" Marie says "How far along is your daughter? A smile there.

"Next month, she evicts her baby" The older pooka says proudly

"Your daugher is having a baby." Jessica surmises.

"Um, congratulations!"

Tonto claps "She wanted you to sign the dot"

Marie sighs 'Oh, yes, they would like you to bless the baby"

"Gracious, por favor"

"B.... bless the baby?" surely, a pooka mistranslation "I'm not... I mean ...."

"Um, wouldn't Father V or... or Tito-Woden or.....??"

"You are the FREE flame" the older woman smiles "It was years ago but we remember the snake's venom in the land's blood. How you risked the fangs and beheaded the snake. We pooka are ALL ELEPHANTS. "

Jessica takes a deep breath. "I'm honored to be asked. Please, Constance, find out the details and timing and Maria, let's arrange a celebration for the day-of. Would you do us the honor of coming here for that, gentle pooka?"

She nods happily and steps back

Constance nods "Noted my liege"

"Thank you, Constance."

Finally Zane gets to her, he bows , a grin on hsi face "Pooka here got your back, if I may say, Countess? I Have something for you"

"Zane of River... DarkGate? Forgive me, I might be a little behind the news. Welcome."

"I help Dark gate, but... Rivervale is special to me" He sihs a bit there "This is copies of dragonlore from Rivervale... and Darkgate, though they have less. There is also... this, made by Darkgate"

"Zane... thank you." She gets up and comes to see what he's brought.

"You're welcome. Ah... " A cough "The Chief asks that you inform Mama Capataz Tweak to 'beat that'?" Amused

Jessica.... looks amused. "I will forward the message."

"Thank you for the loan of these materials, Zane; please pass my gratitude to both Dark Gate and Rivervale."

"I will" he nods

"Oh, well, I'll have to leave a note for your mom and dad"

She nods. "They're busy, I know. Will you stay and accept our hospitality?"

"For a night, ladly"

"Most welcome, then. We'll have someone get you a room and all."
