"Do you think I'll be a good knight for her?" Just a bit insecure and/or nervous

"I know you will do your best to be." Jessica reassures.

"Well, that's true, not quite the 'don't be silly you'll be a great knight' speech I was hoping for" She sips her drink, "But enough of me. What's new here?"

"Dragon."

"There's a dragon in the area, looking for revenge. So we're on alert."

"Dragon?" eyes lightt up "ooo how big?"

"Fits on a rooftop, but still sizable."

"Nice!" Siv looks very interested "Do you know who it wants revenge upon?"

"Doesn't matter. She can't hurt any of our people here."

"just , if you find ou who, you can predict her patterns better, set up false rumors and decoys to lure her out of the city, feed her false intell, or if she won't give up, lure her into a trap on ground of your choosing"

Jessica blinks. "That.... those are really good ideas. Damn."

"Thank you," Siv answers simply, "I've had good mentors in both tactics and espionage"

Jess takes a deep breath. "Ok, so.... I have to go talk to some people and organize things. Will you excu..... actually, can you help me?"

"I.. uhm.." She's surprised "Happy to. What do you need?"

"What should we do first?"

"You mean regarding the dragon?"

"Yes." she seems puzzled; what else could it possibly be?

"What's the dragon's name?" She asks

Jessica, who's memory is better than her Player's, gives the name and titles.

"Ovonth the lady of Twilight skies" Siv repeats "Interesting, that could be because of her purple hues, or could be a location she calls home, that's a clue there, Twilight Skies. Also note worthy she didnn't pick some name like 'The magnificient' or 'Townmuncher' or the like... she wants to be seen as regal and dignified more than fierce. She may figure fierce goes without saying... as she's a dragon. You've set word to your barons?"

Jess nods.

"Her name and description, and my instructions are not to engage except to save lives."

"Smart" Siv says "Okay, so you're already coordinating with them, that's good. They'll be reseaching her, but you should also inform tthe Duke, not just to let him know, but so you can access Liam knowledge. LIam's are the best record keepers period of the nobles. Now if the dragon isn'tt telling, not sure how you can find out who her target is, but I imagine you have a kind of census of changelings in the area? You'll want to get that... and run down the list or have someone do it for you. "

"Baron Tidemarch sent word he was researching." Jess agrees "I can ask Father V and Sir Jack to do so as well."

"Constance will have the census."

Siv nods "Sounds like you're ahead of me there. Now, scope out some options, where can you lead the dragon IF you can fool her, where she won'tt do as much harm if there is a big fight? You want contigency plans. Find out where the dragon has been, look for loose scales .. bits of her. It's ruthless, but if you have a part of her, not only can you use IT to tell you answers, like willow whisper or the sort, omen etc, you can maybe have a craftsman build a bane for her... just in case"

"Tito Woden might be the best to hunt for those. Maybe take a party out."

A nod "Those with strong kenning. If you can find out who the target is, decepiton ad false lures get easier... thats' where shape changers like me, or Chicanery masterrs can work their stuff to lead them out"

"Hm. Not sure what we've got, there, but Tito Woden might know better."

A nod

"Ok. So..... oh, your rooms are probably ready. I should go get this underway. Contance first, I guess."

"Okay. Hope my ideas helped. I'll work onn more" siv says "But , we can't stay the night, sis. Duties at Rivevale"

"Ok. Room's yours anyway if you need a spot."

"I may return... " She says "if I cross some Ts and dot the is at Rivervale. I think I can help you more if you'll allow"

"Sounded like you are already pretty busy...." a little reluctant "It would be great but you have to have priorities....."

"Some of my personal life is on hold right now," She says "Piper and Jonas are.. gone, on a quest. So ... I can give you that time until they get back"

"Are you ok?" Jess asks with concern.

"I have injured a woman I love because I mistook a still open would for a scar. I have a squire who I feel greatly for already, pride, responsibility, and now I war with a Fiona's love annd a troll's duty.. if things do not resolve, I will have to do without one or the other... no sis, I am not okay" A breath, for a moment a bit ragged "But... I'm a King. We know how to keep busy unntil the pain gets comfortable"

Jess hesitates, then nods. "Ok. I'd be glad for your help."

"Thank you" She rises "Best get Kassedy" She calls out "Who better not be eavesdropping"

Jess nods and goes to find Constance, ask for the census, and send messages to Father V, Sir Jack, and Tito Woden.

Constance nods and hands over the census "Your sister does well? A squire. Quite a change"

Jess nods. "It is. Thank you for this. Can you get the messages out right away?"

"Right away" She nods "Would you like me to also send a letter to the DeBukes? Thanks to Coy I've met their Mountain. He may have lore about draons he's willing to share"

"Yes, please."

She scribbles a letter for that too, and tthen "Jessica. We're both trolls. We donn't make.. public issues of our love lives, but.. may I ask you a question?"

"Not about Duff" She adds, quickly
