August turns back to Rachel. "How are -you- feeling?"

"Very confused.. I keep wondering if you need a body? isn't that an odd thing to think?"

"Not as odd as you might think." August says kindly "And, ah, no. Thank you. I like the body I have now."

"Oh, not for you for..." A pause "I forget"

"As far as I know, there's no immediate need." August soothes, with a glance at Jessica. "Although this is not my land."

Jess shakes her head in the negative "As far as I know, no Dream Dances today. So far."

"Then I stay here , shall I? Can.. I have food?"

"Oh, jeeze." Jessica nods. "Sure, of course. Come with me?"

"Countess, I might get a robe for myself.... and, ah, may I use your phone?"

Rachel follows meekly, and if she sees a flower nearby she smiles and sniffs it

The green rose rises to meet her!

"Yes, of course you can.... oh." Jess takes in his waterlogged state. "Of course."

"Thank you." August ducks into a changing room and emerges in a robe.

And together they all go to the kitchens. "Maria, Rosa? We have a guest. Can you put a plate together?"

(That's Jessica asking)

"Lovely flower.." And yes she is sat downi n the kitchen

Maria and Rosa rush to service, both treating the mortal with no less good food than they would a true queen

"My heir planted them. Sort of." Jessica is made to sit and eat too, which she does with a sigh.

And August too. "Ah, before I eat, may I use your phone and let Coradel know what's going on? And, ah, I don't suppose you have anyone here who repairs cell phones? It was in my pocket when we arrived......"

"Oh no." Jessica says "I don't know about cell phones but we could ask Symond about it."

August nods and offers the phone to Jessica, who takes it. She gives August directions to the phone, and maybe someone's available to walk him there?

Symond will look over it, and snorts.. "Boring phone"

"If you could just dry it out, so it works again?" The Sidhe lord in a bathrobe asks.

She looks irked then nods, and... begins to cuss at it at Spanish, insulting it's bandwidith, it's color, it's shoddy materials.. .and yes, it's mother!

The phone starts to get really steamed.. inded, all the water in it is becoming steam!

And hisses as it leaves

August blushes again.

"All dry now" She hands it back

"Ah. Thank you. Can I compensate you in some way?"

"Yeah, get a cooler fphone sometime that's water proofed" And she closes the door to her workshop leaving August there with his phone working

THough if he uses it in the next half hour , it might text the word 'bitch' now and then if he doesn't double check

He'll call Coradel, let her know all is well, and return to the kitchen.

He finds that Jessica has eaten and wished Rachel well during her stay, then gone on with her day.

Maria and Rosa insist August eat too.

"Senor, this is a matter of Hold pride, and boggan honor, so Baron, you must eat"

August nods and dutifully eats. "Excellent meal, this is very good. Thank you. Rachel, are you enjoying yours?"

"I feel like i haven't eaten in.. oh" Realization "Well, it's nice to be off a liquid diet?"

"I'm sure your family will be happy to feed you up." August encourages.

"My family, it's been so long. Mom must have been out of her mind"

"It has been very difficult for all of them, perhaps your mother most of all. She is aware that you are here with me, and we are seeking your healing."

"Thank you, lord. We are shielded and shaded by the branches of your house"

"Why did I say that?" She asks

A small smile. "Because at one time it was true. And, now that I know about your family, I will do my best to help take care of you all again."

"But you must be busy.." She protests

"Not too busy for this." he assures her gently.

Rachel smiles "Thank you."

"You're welcome. I only regret it took this long."

Should a certain childling be observing.. one way or another, she' ll ken there is something about this mortal, like a mark on her very soul that instinctively lets he know this mortal and her ilk are in pact with a particular group of sidhe

"How could you know?" She counters

"Much knowledge and wisdom has been lost over the years." he agrees "I do not blame myself, Rachel, but I regret the delay nevertheless."
