August is in the water, Rachel in his arms. A being of water, an inaminae who seems to have trouble breathing, moves to them and is fussing. Jessica is at the spa entry way.

"Allow me." August says, and lays a gentle kiss on her forehead, passing Glamour thusly.

Her eyes jump, new dreams

"Good, hold her gently" FOntaine orders and the waters whirl around her... "She's going to need restoration not just healing or she'll be terribly blank"

A pause "You don't want her blank do you? Is it time for the transference?"

"No, we don't want her......transference?"

"Of course, the old compact... House Liam did it for a while" Fontaine says, and one might wonder how old the water being is, "Liams do not like taking folks against their will, but there are family lines that know and WANT to see the Dreaming, so they sometimes have members who offer themselves and... you don't know anything about that do you?" Startled look "oh dear. Let's just say this Daughter of Eve 's family and yours are entwined"

August nods. "We'd gathered as much, yes. Are you saying there's a Sidhe soul nearby that needs a host?"

"Well, not nearby... that's part of the magic... both parties have to be willing, ancient pact. Frustrated the ailil no end. Did you know she's IMMUNE to sidhe posession unless it's a Liam? Fascinating.. oh I should keep healing her"

"Yes, please do."

August watches the mortal in his arm anxiously.

And the enchanted girls muscles, so atrophied from disuse, seem to slowly return... and then.. she gasps "The ancient pact is intact, may the friendship between our lines hold strong another five hundred years..." Then she gasps "WHy.. why did I say that? WHere am I?"

August's jaw drops in shock. "Rachel? Rachel Castle?"

"Yes, Rachel.. I know you? SHould I know you? Yes.. I'm an ally and you to me. You're a lord. But HOW Do I know that?"

"I don't know. You've been ill. I only just found out about it, and our connection. I'm August Truthbranch."

"Hello August. I'm Rachel Castle and you are gorgeous!" She says "And my mouth is doing the chatty thing"

"Embarrassing, isnt' it?" Fontaine nods

"Ah." he even blushes cute.

"Do you think you can stand?"

"I .." She rises in the water "I think so"

He steadies her, letting her take it at her own pace.

She moves about, the hospital gown, now wet, adheres to her prettily enough, though she's still at touch thin

August averts his eyes. "Countess, my debt to you is immense… do you think you might have something for Rachel to wear?"

"Oh, oh, sure. Hold on." Jessica blinks at then goes to get a non-troll robe from the many in the dressing rooms. She grabs some towels too. "Here you go, miss."

"THank you.. your'e tall" Rachel blurts

Jessica smiles. "I am. I'm a troll. And for now, your host. I'm Jessica King."

"Kings.. kings have Dukes.. and Dukes have Counts and Counts have Barons and Barons have knights and knights have squires.. but sometimes there's a bit of flourish "

"Um, no, King is my surname. My title is Countess, but I don't use it much. But you're more or less correct, yes."

"Well done, Rachel." August adds.

"Thank you I don't know why I know all this.. or I do but it's all like... What year is it?"

"It's 2021." Gently.

"Oh I think I need to sit down"

"Let's get you out of the water." He offers, and makes sure she's got a robe.

And yes, she's soon out of the water and has a robe

"Much has changed, Rachel, but your family are fine, and waiting to hear from you when you are ready." August tells her.

"You're in Renaissance County in the Kingdom of the Feathered Serpent; Baja, Mexico." Jess adds.

"Fontaine, thank you so much." August turns to the water-spirit.

Fointaine does not look entirely there... "Ah.. Countess.. "The wavering thing says "I.. I need to rest for a day or two... the wounds were easy, saving the memory was.. hard"

And then he breaks apart into water, flowing back into the spa

"Fontaine?!?!"

Worried, she stoops and eases a hand into the water.

for a moment she sees his sleeping face..

then it's gone

She nods to herself. "I think he'll be ok......"

"I hope so. If there's anything I can do, please tell me, Countess." August insists.

"I think he just needs to rest."
