The trolls look at each other a moment.

"I suppose not" He admits "So.. other than that, how are things? "

"Um. Good."

"I'm thinking so" he nods "Just.. did you ever look where you were in life and wonder how you got there? I mean.. I wouldn't trade my love for the world, but all of it together"

Jess looks at him a moment, then motions him to follow. She lead the way to the kitchen and they are set up with food and drink (including spirits) before she speaks. "Do you remember when we met?"

He follows "Firnost I believe" He nods "You were the trolish ideal, or so it seemed, and I was a mess"

She nods. "And who was I then?"

"Westward" A smile "The rafter troll"

"Right, so ... you're asking ME if I ever wonder how I got to where I am now???"

A chuff "Right. " He reaches for the spirits "I think that deserves a toast"

She nods... she's lived down here for a few years now.

they do "Sorry, you're right of course,we're both in positions we never expected. " He tries the food "but... I suppose we're both happier than we were then in Firnonst. I know i am. My art is accepted. I have the love of my life. And you? You've done so much good here."

The food is amazing!!

Jess nods. "I'm good."

"Okay this is fantastic food. " He says

"Mmm so you're the original westward.. does anyone here know abou that part of your past?"

Earl gets a King eyebrow.

"Besides me" He adds

The eyebrow stays.

"I'm missing something here" He observes

"Not necessarily, but I also don't need a lot of attention, Earl. Do you?"

"No. Fair point. And I wasn't going to go chatting up your hold and sayinng 'did you know'. A sluagh girlfriend has taught me no one likes being the center of a Shanda"

"Also I'm sure it would just draw unwelcome attention to the current Westward"
