She learns a few key phrases.. and... Jessica looks up to see she has a drink and food by her side

Boggans strike againn

Well, at this point it is not unwelcome. She shares it with her tutors.

They dine, and... Johnny says "And I think we need a break"

"I don't know if I'll make much more progress." she admits ruefully "And it's only a few words so far."

"Then you'll be a few words more than most folks who don't know a bit of the langauge"

Jess has to chuckle at that. "Yes. I suppose that's true."

Fawn smiles "Not everyone's French, some people are flattered you try their language however imperfectly"

"Mm. Don't tell Vali."

Fawn laughs at that "Cross my heart"

Jess nods and stands. "Ok. Thank you for the lessons, we'll set something up to keep going? I'll study."

"Well, if you like" Fawn says after looking at Twofeather who also nods

"What time would be good for your busy schedule?" Twofeathers asks

She gives them a ballpark idea ".... assuming things don't come up, sorry."

"You never know when thinggs come up, we understand" Fawn nods "We'll adapt when we have to"

"Thanks. I look forward to it." and she moves on for a break.

"Hey boss," Sir Phobos catches up with her in the hallway "You got a momennt?"

"Of course."

"It's about Tex, the litttle redcap kid?"

"Yes? Is he alright?"

"Oh dandy, but he doesn't always get to cut loose as a redcap here so we, Demos annd I , were hoping o take him camping for a week? Let him go savage"

Jessica nods. "That sounds .... very positive. What about..." she names the drug-cartel TV thief.

"Huh.. yeah we can brrrin her along but you'll be missing your redcaps for a week. You ready to rely on JUST trolls, sidhe, andn pooka?"

"I'll step up patrols and put a temporary ban on parties."

"Heh. Okay" A nod

"Will you let us know the area you'll be in?"

"Surre, we'll roam a bit but we'll let you know the geneal area..." He shrugs "We'll take care of him"

"Them."

"Them" He shrugs "But most caps can take care of themselves.. as a corby, we're not going to be crossed"

"Damn straight. I'll talk with Diego. Have.... well, have a good time."

"Oh sure, it's not this week, probably start on Sunnday unnless you want us to start it earlier ? Might be able ot rush i"

"Take your time."

"Kay, thanks boss. Any orders or projects before we go?"

"Is there anything you're currently working on?"

"herald duties are in a lull"

"Any suggestions for who should fill in for you while you're out?"

He scratches his chin "Sir Buce cann be loud enough... you gotta be loud. "

"I'm sure no one will quite measure up to you, Phobos. Just pick someone who can fill in."

"Will do" He nods

"Thanks." she nods and (assuming there's no objections) she moves on.

Holger is heading towards the trod

Jess waves. "Heading to Rivervale?"

"Yes. " Holger nods "I have been invited for more lessons and the super secret meeting with the Shadowpaw cl..." He covers his mouth "With people"

A lip-twitch, carefully covered. "Please take my best wishes with you, and give all there my greetings?"

"I will" he gives a troll salute. The Best Wishes WILL make it through, come heck or higgh water!

"Thank you." she nods again, and carries on.

And off Holger goes, now with Baggage! 😉

If nothing is scheduled for her at the Freehold, she'll go on patrol.

The fire warms her as she starts her patrol... always a kiss of glamour for the rroad
