"At Dinner." And off she goes . The call of "PANTS" can be heard

Not for long.... and Jess goes to let the ladies know there will be an additional two for the table tonight.

Rosa and Marie are delighted anndn ask "What should we make?"

"Oh. Um. Sandwiches?"

"No, um.... I mean, nothing big. Not a big deal, I mean. Chicken?"

"Okay," tthey nnod "You want light, causual, good for talking" Rosa says

"God knows, Lady Siv does talk" Marie smiles though

"One in every family" Rosa shrugs

"Yes, right, thank you. Exactly. I look forward to it."

And she finds her way to her rooms.

She gets to her rooms without hassle!

And closes the door with an exhale. She takes a moment to look at the papers that have been dropped off for her, loosening her clothes to shower as she does.

Looks like reports from Tidemarch are in, like clockwork. All is well.

She nods, collecting clothes as she does. Good. She looks at the other reports.

Apparently a new report fresh off things. Father V... their charity got a donation of 30000 American Dollars just last night!

THAT she reads again. Slowly.

He's estatic

A blessing, a miracle!

And he wonders if you are behind this

Jess searches her memory......

She sets that aside. Reads on.....

Taking paper with her to the bathroom but leaves it outside when it comes to showering.

And then Tweak has promising updates with the flying saucher chimera... the US ggovernment talk about it has inspired folks again

A sigh. She puts it down and showers.

She's quick, and dries off and dresses again.

Jessica thinks a few unkind thoughts and changes.

She checks once more and if all is well she leaves to tend to her duties.

And so her duties resume

Maybe she needs to talk to Father V about that donation?

So she patrols out that way.

She is greated warmly, and finds him in his humble office "Yessica" He moves to take her hands "All the saints be with you"

"Father, I had your note. I am confused. I didn't... I"m not responsible for.... It's not me."

"Oh" he seems stunned "Then who would have done it?"

"I don't know."

"Nor I, but I will use it. It can help too many inn this city"

"Then use it."

"I shall. Amazing" A smile "Oh but my manners. Can I get you a drink? Coffee, water, tea?"

"Water. I'm on patrol."

He pours her some "Sometimes I worry you patrol too much wihtout company"

"Thank you. Father." she drinks "But I am on patrol with the County, as the County."

"Mmm. You are not a rock or island"
