GLARE but she doesn't argue. They arrive and a nun she's met before ,a sluagh, greets them, "god be with you , please follow me"

"Thank you, Sister."Jessica murmurs, as much in deference to the place as to the habit, and follows.

they find Father V in a room wrapping up blankets, clearly meant to be given to the poor somewhere

"Hello Father." Jessica gives him a small smile (which makes it mean all the more) and offers her hand. "This is Dentadura. Dentadura, we call him Father V."

"Dentadura? OH we met..." Father V rises, "You have grown since your saining." he smiles "I hope your family is well?"

Mutter mumble

"And you, Jessica?" The priest takes her hand "You look well"

"Thank you Father, yes. I'm well."

"Wondeful. Now, what brings you and how can I help?" He asks

Jess nods to the redcap, turning it over to her.

Mutter mumble "televisions.." Mutter mumble look at feet "gotta get rid of them.."

Father V nods"Speak up, child. God can hear all, but I'm getting old"

"I stole some tvs from a drug cartel and nnow i'm having trouble unloading them." She speaks just a bit louder "didn't know I was going to a church" GLARE at Jessica

A shrug.

"I don't have the connections to sell them, she doesn't want to speak with Necropsis.... I thought you might have a use? Maybe.... a raffle? Or move them North?"

"A raffle?" Father V nods "yes, that is nott a bad idea. Thank you for your charity, Dennadura!" A smile "you would make your dear Abuela proud "

the Redcap groans "I want to get paid .. in cash"

"Dentadura, may I ask what your need for cash is?" Jessica asks gently.

"I gotta eat, cap's get hungry. I gotta pay rent, don't like the clouds taking a pi... raining on me" A humph "And yes, sometimes I like nice things"

"This church is not wealthy" Father V sighs "But... if you must have nice things" The old boggann's face now radiates a sorrow that seems to eat at the redcap

"Twenty bucks then.. twenty American dollars for 20 television sets... " Dunnntadura groans

"Bless you, child" Father V breaks out a twenty

Jessica nods and observes the transaction.

The redcap sighs, and mutters about getting the TVs here, as she pockets the money

"Bless you, Child" Father V says

Annd the redcap stomps off

Presumably to get the TVs

Father V looks to Jessica "Thank you, Jessica. Don't worry, we'll look after her too"

The troll nods "Thank you. Is her abuelita still alive?"

"No, she's buried on church grounds" He crosses himself "Sweet woman. But she watches still I like to think"

Jess nods. "Hm. Interesting. Dentadura; does she have a place to stay and food? I mean, I understand she's a redcap...."

"I believe she lives in, well, it's sort of an apartment" he shakesh is head "I've seen monk cells larger though. Alas she would refuse an offer for haven here"

"Do you think she would accept a position at Fenix or the Pit?"

"I do not know, but don't make it sound too much like charity. Point out Sir Phobos, annd Demos are redcaps and you don't give THEM charity"

"I will consult with them first. You know how to get in touch with her if we need to?"

"I do" He nods

"Good. I'll consult with Phobos and Demos and be in touch. If you can find out more about her situation.... she seems especially worried about room and board. Even if Fenix is a temporary situation, if she can work till she gets her feet under her and her head above water...."

"People like you make Jesus smile, Jessica" He pats her hand

"Thank you, Father." She grips his hand gently and moves on.

Soon enough, twenty televisions are dropped off at the cathedral. Dentadura grumbles mumbles and avoids eye contact. It seems all her redcap fiercness is undone when it comes to houses of god and clergy

"Dentadura. May I ask you to help me?"

"What? You need twenty bucks? " Side glare

"No."

"But I might need your combat skills around the place."

"Come on" She snorts "You got trolls and other caps.. everyone knows that"

"Yes, I do. But I am not so well off that I can push friends away."

"We're not friends" the shecap says bluntly "if that's what your hoping for"

"My request was not based on friendship. Thank you for contacting me today."

And, business done, Jessica is free to continue her patrol.

A confused look crosses her feattures "uh.. you're welcome"
