The news of a drug kingpin found hung by his neck in front of his own manor house certainly has made the Mexican headlines

And Jess sees them as she passes by news-stands on patrol, but she doesn't focus on it.

Some of the locals muter about the increased violence, even by Tijuana standards

But on Jessica patrols.

She keeps an eye out for other Fae, nodding to acknowledge them when she sees them. It's almost a way of holding a mobile, informal court; if they need her, there she is.

And someone does...

A female redcap moves to her side "Pardon? You got a minute?" Politte for her kith

She nods. "Of course. What can I do for you?"

"You don't know I don't think, I don't go much to holidays... they call me Dentadura.." Basically 'Set of Teeth' "I was wondering if you wanted some televisions?"

An odd thing to ask about

"Televisions?"

"Si... I got 20 televisions, I stole them from a druglord's goons. Some one killed him... the news you know? Well, I knew they'd be circling the wagons so I robbed their places... but now I got a problem. That is, how to sell 20 Televisions discretely?"

"That... is a question, yes. To which I do not have an answer. There are those of us who deal in such things, though. You have asked them?"

"Necropsis makes me want to punnch him" She snorts "And sons of adam in the biz are scared of the drug lord's grieving family "

"Why take the televisions if you could not sell them?"

"Because I didn't like them andn it was my chance. Also I hoped I could sell hem, but then found out a lot of folks are pussies. What do you want me ot say ? I never claimed to be a criminal genius. C'monnn, I hear you smuggle now and then. Help me unnload this and I'll cut you in"

"I've run -clothes- Norte. I wouldn't know where to start with televisions." Jessica explains "I know who I'm taking the clothes to, I have addresses."

"Damn." Dentadura curses "Well, how about I sell them to you and you give them to like your loyal knights and shit?"

"Televisions?"

"How much TV do you think they watch?"

"Why not just... give them back?"

"to.. the drug goons with the cartel? go to them, say 'my bad' annd walk away?"

"Leave them where they can be found?"

"And lose it all for nnothing? I'd rather give them to CHARITY than that" Scoff

An eyebrow. "Well. It's a long shot but... maybe."

"Wouldn't hurt to ask."

"Ask.. wait you'll take them?"

"No, I mean I know someone I can ask who might take them off your hands, but I don't think they can pay much. Or anything, really."

A sigh "Well, talk to em and see what you can get? I can't be picky"

She nods and they move out of the way enough for her to make a phone call. "May I speak with Father V?" she asks in Spanish when connected.

Father V answers "Si?"

"Father, it's Jessica. May we come see you?"

"Always , child. I hope you are well?"

"Yes, Father, thank you. I'm coming with...." she glances at the redcap "Dentadura, is her name. She has something to offer you."

"Joyful news then. See you shortly. God's light is always on"

"See you soon." Jessica puts the tiny phone away carefully. "Ready to go meet?"

"A priest? Shit." A sigh "Okay"

"He's a good person." Jessica says mildly as she leads the way.

"Priests make me feel all guilty... like god is watchingg me and angels are tuttin " A huff but she follows

"Father V can probably help you unpack all that."

"I don't want to unpack my bad. My bad makes me money. I want to unpack TVS" Ahrumphh but off they go

And soonn they are at the cathedrel

"Your bad got you TVs you can't unpack." she points out amiably as they walk and/or arrive.
