Siv arrives looking a bit tired. She's announced and while she can't be scared she can be startled "DAMN it, Sir Phobos, my freaking ear"

For Phobos has bellowed her arrivival with "LADY CAPTAIN SIV WAVEBORN AP FIONA! LITTLE SISTER TO THE COUNTESS"

"What happened?" Jess emerges to find her sister.

"I've a message from Mother" Siv says "Sorry ,I should be more formal than that but.. lots of travel " A smile though "No emergency. You want me to read it ou loud to you or read it for herself?"

"She.... let me read it. Then tell me. Come on." She offers to take the message and at the same time leads Siv to her own rooms.

They go to Jessica's private room "Oh this is nice" Then hands out a scroll

Your steadfast defense of Rivervale made the liberation of the centaurs possible. I am deeply proud and deeply grateful.
I now have a further request, but you need not feel bound to accept -- there are other options.
I am seeking homes for the centaur refugees, and I believe one of them would serve your lands and people well. Fawn is a greybeard, and she is great of heart. She seeks to serve and help others. I think she would be especially suited to your service; she is a healer, and she is able to speak Spanish.
Please advise me if you feel you would be able to welcome her and foster her at least until her saining.

Jess looks at Siv. "Yes." an answer to the letter "And....." she stops, shakes her head "I'll write."

"Sure. How are you doing by the way?"

"Good, fine...." she re-reads the letter. "Centaurs...."'

"Yup. Leech had more than a hanndful prisoner. was going to destroy all the centaurs he could" And Siv relates all the tale

By the time she is wrapping it up, they are seated at a table with refreshments. Jess listens. "Wow......"

"I know right?" A gulp of a drink

Good chance the drink was tequila.... equal chance Siv doesn't notice?

"I... saw one. I think. I thought, at the time, it was a Dreaming thing."

She raises a brow "Tequila?

"You're in Mexico."

"Just surprised You are having it. I trained under Sir Bachdion and Baroness Coradel, with Vince helping out and a satyr run pub under the walls. I cann handle my booze" A grin for a sec, then she double checks her sis' drink

Both drinks have tequila. They are both light....

A sip "Not a bad batch" Siv comments and makes a file that sister has adjusted her drinking habits "Now, what would you like to know about Fawn?"

"Yes, please. Have you met her?"

"I have. She reminds me a bit of Dame Ash, maybe it's the age. Though I guess Fawn might be a bit older. Fawn's like 50 I think? She's actually an interesting lady , new to her nature, but she's been all over ... was a nurse for a time doing work in Honduras"

Jess sits up "Honduras.... does she speak dialects?"

"She speaks Spanish, but I admit I didn't find out if she spoke various dialects"

"The answer is still yes."

"Right right," Siv smiles "but let's see what else do I knnow about her? Just so you get a feel for who you're getting..."

"If you can." Jess nods.

"Course I can, I'm Lady Captain Siv Waveborne," A swirrl of her glass and a grin "She's mentioned she wish his came to her earlier, but she likes the extra health it brings. "

"She is a natural peacemaker when others get their heat up against each other. FIgured you'd like that. And she feels happiest when helping folks"

"Yes." Jess nods "I would welcome her at Fenix."

"I have to tell you, Centtaurs don't like being crowded in.. clear paths are best. Seems to be a kith trait. She'll be fine in the city long as she doesn't get too closed off from a way through. However, she's calmer and more disciplined than some of her other kithmates. WAY more than Daria" A chuckle then a look at the drink her sister has. "I got no right to tell someone what to drink. I like rum too much, but this is new for you isn' it? "

"No, not really. I've learned to live here." And she is just sipping. "We have stables here, and space, and if we need to we could find something for her. Fawn. Right?"

"Fawn, and I don't think they take to stables per se.. they're not horses annymore then you and I are blue gorillas. " Siv nods "She'll probably like the kids. "

A fond smile. "Most do. Ok. I won't offer stables."

"Yeah, hey how ARE the kids? "

"They are very well." Jessica smiles "Would you like to see them?"

"No I'm good. Was thinking of dropping by and talking to Duff about a tattoo . how's he?"

"Ask him yourself." Sip.

A brow "Sorry, but aren't you two still dating?"

"Because I figued you'd know?"

"We're on a break."

Siv starts to say somethinng, but then, bites down on it, ponders and says "I'm sorry. I'm also going to try to help you the way you want to be helped. Which is to say, if you want to talk about it, or more importantly need to. i'm here. If you want to change the subject , then I got stories about how much Holger is liked by mom and Da"

"I'm good. Still thinking through things. Glad to hear Holger is doing well; tell me more about that?"

"Oh well, he's just SO intensely earnest and sweet. Dad's beard moves now and then thanks to him if you know what I mean, and both he and mom seem to think he's a fine childling and a sign future trolls will be up to a task. He's learned the troll salute "

Jessica makes the family/troll salute.

A grin "that's the one"

And smiles. "He's a good guy. I'm luck to have him. The girls are lucky to have him.

"Oh he brags on the girls. Apparently Salma is a ggenius, Ellie is the soul of kind rulership, and Ariel is fun."

"They are all of that." Jessica agrees.
