Vali's visit was pleasant for all involved. Ellie is SURE that acorn and tree was very important, and a GOOD thing, so she's not sure why the big knight looked wide eyed. Still, he was nice and Dame Ash clearly loves him

Jessica is fond of Vali as well, although he might try her patience at times. As for the acorn and the tree... well, she does think of her father and House Liam of course, but other symbolism seems more likely.

Ash smiles at Jessica, "I hope my former squire wasn't too much trouble?"

"Oh, Vali's no trouble. Ok, sometimes he's a pain in the... between the horns, but...."

"Well, he's always had that gift, yes," A nod "I think his humor is how he fights the depression our visions brings. he mentioned something about bringing you news?"

"From Rivervale, yes."

"Anythinng we need to help with?" She asks

"Nooo...." tentative "We havent been asked to help."

"I see" She ponders "Should we offer it? you seemed unsure for a second"

"They will call if we are needed." And she sounds more sure.

A nod "Very well. the trod guards wil alert you promptly I'm sure if they send someonnne"

"Of course."

"mmm" thoughtful "Any other orders for me, Countess?"

"Just the usual." With a slight smile "Take care of Ellie."

"Will do, and gladly" Proud "Oh she's keen visioned. I ... shouldn't tell you this, but I'm going to. I thik she just predicted Vali is going to be a father in the next year or so"

Jessica nods. "Acorn and Oak."

"I hope it's a boy" She smiles fondly at the thought "Serve him right on one level"

"As long as the child is healthy and happy."

"Oh they'll count fingers and toes more than once" Ash assures

"I'm sure we all will."

the knight's smile grows

"All right."

Jess nods.

At that point, some one else comes up, two boys, Adler and Ahpuch, the sluagh. the blink in the brighter hallways

Jessica nods to them in greeting.

"Senorita Comtessa" A whisper from Ahpuch "do you have a moment?"

"Of course." She says quietly, crouching down to talk to the boys.
