"Yes yes. Every one adored you and you tried to skate on it" Ash tuts him

"That's changed right?" She says "You no longer think EVERYONE who meets you must adore you?"

Vali takes a beat, then "noooo, that would be silly."

Jessica sips her drink and lets the two Beaumayn reconnect.

Ash laughs and reaches and hugs the big man

Then both stop, their moods shifting...

"Fire and snow..." Vali mutters

"A freed wildfire claiming it's old path" Ash mutters

"Oh crap." Jess mutters.

A tousle-headed childling patters into the hall.

"Whoo.. okay that's a lot of.." Ash turns "oh my. Should have thought of that"

Vali turns, annnd sees the LITTLE counntess "The Dark star shines its light on all the house. " He turns to bow '"Your excellency"

"I can step away." Jessica rises "Looks like this is a House meeting."

Dame Ash says "Not officially, and we miht be wrong. Could just be chance she's here. "

"Chance?" Jessica asks dubiously.

"I had a bad dream."

Ellie crosses to Dame Ash, seeking to hold the older sidhe's hand.

"I'll ask the staff for a round of warm milk." She smiles briefly and steps away.

The older Sidhe takes the hand of the little girl "I'm sorry, honey. Want a hug?"

"There was a river, and it swallowed up a blue fire, and then it kept rising and it burned these white flowers to ashes..."

"A bit different from mine but close" Vali ponders "I saw fire cleansing away deadly snow, but there was a storm that broke from the clash"

"For me, it was another fire image" Ash confides to her house mates, picking up the Countess and holding her, "A wildfire had been contained, and then...someone moved the stones around it and it went wild again"

"Yessica is blue and a fire." Worried.

"It could be that.. but swallowed isn't always destruction." Ash says gently "And it might not be here. We'll keep a third eye on it"

"I hope not."

"I'd look into it, but I'm afraid my own home is busy" Vali frowns, "Sorry, Countess."

Head tilt, tiny crease between her brows. "Why do you have acorns?"

"Acorns?" he says, "What acorns do you see?"

Not mocking, just open

"You're planting it? Are you going to grow a tree? I don't understand why I'd see that."

"And there's a pretty lady to water it."

"Mm I..." realization "Does the pretty lady have.. a tail?"

Nod-nod.

"oh boy" BIG troll looks a bit wide eyed and pale "That's what she was talking about .. okay. I may need a paper bag to breath in"

"You both looked happy about the tree."

Aisling aka Ash covers her mouth and figgghs a smile

"When the tree arrives, they will be I think" Ash says

"Maybe they'll hang a swing on it."

"Sounds lovely.." Vali says and mutters something about a teacher's salary

"You should. Swings are the best."

"Ellie is a champion at swings" A nod from Ash "Fearless with them. gives me a heart attack"

A grin on the big troll's face at that, "There's no point if you don't see how high they can go"

"And then JUMP!"

"I blame Ariel for teaching you that" Ash says "You ttwo had to make it a contest" then she says "Ariel's that Satyr DeBuke girl?"

"Ariel's a satyr, yes."

Vali grins "I 've met her.. " then an impressed look "You're going toe to hoof with a satyr in a swing competition? WOW Ellie, nice!" Offer of fist bump

A laugh as she fist-bumps back.

"Oh dear, you're encouraging her," Dame Ash says, but in that tone that lets Ellie realize she's NOT as fussy as she might seem to be

"Hey, they're good at jumping" he says "Worth a first bump. And it brings glory to the house"

"Got to jump to be a Warrior, right?"
