"Well. I guess? Something like my mom and dad have?" hesitantly "I mean.... like that, but in my own way....."

"I don't know your parents that well so it's hard to judge. Clearly truehearts"

She nods. "Yes. And they married as well."

"Yes. But.. that's not unique"

"True." a shrug "Maybe I don't need unique."

She ponders "And Duff? WHere does he fit in?"

"Because I'll be honnest.. Jack is NOT who I would see myself withforever.. and part of me wants him to try"

A frustrated puff of air. "Well, right now I'm not sure we're even speaking to each other so it's a moot point."

"He's an idiot" She huffs

"Mmph." Jessica says around her last mouthful of ice cream.

She nods "Okay.. sorry. I think your bogan staff and my boggan staff saw both of us were upset annd set us up. It's their way"

A shrug. "We got ice cream out of it."

She smiles "Good point. You've got a gift for finding a silver lining" A nod

"Thank you." She puts the bowl and spoon down. "So, ok. I'll ask the other leaders about Beltaine, but at least we have an idea to work with. How about the Pit, do you need anything?"

"Actually, a few kegs of quality beer for celebrations"

A chuckle. "Easy enough. You want to talk to Diego about it or shall I?"

"I'll talk to him" She rises annd gathers both empty bowls "It's pretty minor stuff. And I'll try to keep a more accurate tally onn those nunnehi regulars i mentioned"

"Mitra, let them come get the bowls....." she chides, and then "I'm still interested in establishing stronger relations with the Nunnehi. I know we've made progress but...."

And they talk for a time on peacemaking with the nunehi... a subject Jessica is far more comfotable with, as is Mitra
