"Holger, go check on the goats, por favor?"

Holger says "No. .If I stop guarding, I will betray the guardian spirit in me. I will be there"

"The two cold ones we sent out need you to guard them more. "

Holgerr glares..then takes a breath "For you, Salma"

"The box?"

"Yes.. he was doodling"

Salma curtseys to Holger, which helps hide her blush. "Go, you silly boy."

"We shall get him out. Where is the box?"

Thei girl poins.. and Ariel runs that way

Holger has left

"Come, you need to go wait in the yard,,,:

The girl nods and goes

Seeming reassured

She follows after Ariel.

Salma looks around, and checks to make sure that no one else is hidden or lost in any of the other rooms...

Then when she realizes that Ariel already joined Ellie, heads that way as well! 🙂

The iron box is not fun, the boy within huddles whimpering

Ellie falters. "Oh... oh."

(Is it fully enclosed? Locked? Bars?)

It has a lock on it, one of the areas that is NOT touched with Cold iron

If they look, they might find a key on the wall, where the boy cann see, but not touch

Ellie bites her lip again. Beaumayn are brave. She walks to the key.

"We're here to rescue you from the Mean Lady."

The boy rocks back and forth in the cage, eyes staring

"Here..." Salma takes a breath, and steps closer. Carefully wrapping her hand in the skirt of her dress, she holds the lock up and away from the bars so that it's less likely that Ellie might brush the bars.

Ellie approaches, with the key.

It's cold. her mein flickers but she turns the key... and unlocks it

Salma tugs the lock to pull the door open. "Amigo, can you come with us?"

"You have to come. We need to go..."

he just startes

stares*

"Ay, yi yi. Princesca, Cabracita, can you look over there please? I will carry him out, but I am shy, los siento."

Ariel moves to help, hummming, "Sos cold"

Ellie looks away!

A clop of a hoof on the ground, and Salma the Burra is there, long ears flicking as she kneels for the boy to be either mounted or slung over her back, so that they can hurry out!

The boy comes out, Ariel helps lift..support really

Ellie helps steady, and they head for the outside - and feedom!

Once they get outside, Salma snorts in relief and kicks up her hooves a little, trotting eagerly over to the chariot.

The goats do not want the cold riders..

"We could enchant them..."

Salma stomps and shows her teeth to the goats, nevermind that they are about the same size as her. They WILL take the poor kids!

"HAW."

And the goats stop

"And go to Sir Jack, I think..."

Salma carefully nuzzles the coldest boy on her back, and gives him some of her glamour, if she can. He might not absorb it like a fae, but maybe it will help...

She snorts in surprise! He's a fae! Her ears flick! "Hee?"

Ellie feeds some glamour into the others. "Is he...?" She kenns.
