Ariel comes up and asks the boy "Is Holger back yet?"

"not yet" Apuch says

Jessica uses this as an excuse to approach. "Hello, Ariel. Oh, hello Apuch."

"Hello, Jessica" Sometimes Ariel forgets titles but she's respectful.

"Freeholder" Ahpuch whispers "he has not come back yet. Do you think they are keeping him... forever?"

Ariel stamps her hoof at Ahpuch "Stop that. You'll make Salma mad if she hears" The satyress turns to Jessica "Can we trade Tex to get Holger back?"

Jessica smiles a bit. "No need. Holger will come home in a few days. He's expanding his horizons, and I think it might be good for all of us to try that."

"Ariel, you have Diego and Nancy here. Would you like to meet other satyrs? Apuch, you must learn how to host a tea and other sluagh traditions, yes?"

Ariel says "Like me coming here from the farm?" " She says "I have met Diego and Nancy. They're nice"

Ahpuch sniffs "I know other sluagh. this is my hold to spy on now" Hurumph

Ariel pokes ahpuch "Stop that. The Freeholder is trying to make us feel better and maybe learn more"

"Well, you don't -have- to feel better. If you like you can be upset and worried." an honest offer.

"I'm a satyr , we can't always help HOW We feel " Ariel says

Ahpuch says "I shall brood..and plot. It is the sluagh way"

"Fair enough." she nods.

"I . I might visi the farm again" Ariel says "Hearth Agnes says she's really sorry for how she treated Ellie, but I'm not sure Ellie will ever go back"

"Ithink you should visit as often as you like, with an escort. Just to be safe, in case of Chimera attack or something."

"Do you think Ellie would visit if I went with her?"

"She.. she might" Ariel says "Would you?" BIG eyes

Jessica nods. "I will certainly talk to her about it, and to the DeBukes there. If everyone agrees, I will go with her to the farm."

"Okay!" She smiles "That'd be great. We might get Earl to just flicker flahs us back.. but you'll have to make sure it's okay with Missus Zara on account they're like married now"

"Yes, and Earl is at EarthRunes, not here at Fenix. We can figure it out."

"Yeah but he flashes.. so I call him and he has to pick me up because I'm kind of family and ADORABLE"

"You are that."she agrees.

Ahpuch rolls his eyes

"You, are not, Ahpuch." Jessica assures him.

"graciious" He says glad she understands

"I will send a message to the Farm, Ariel."

She nods "Yay! "

((And she will ask Constance to do so.))

(Constance will.. and mention that Tex ate a book.)

And thus, Jess is off to talk to Tex.

Tex looks left, looks right, then sees the Countess and sighs and sticks his nose in the corner

Demos comes in to check the boy "Did you like being bored?"

"NOOOO" Tex says

"Well, some people get bored if they don't have things to read so now you know how they feel" Demos snaps "See, I SHOULD shove your head in the wall, like mama would do to Phobos and I... but that gives you cool bruises. Boredom just sucks. So.. what you learn?"

"Don't eat books" Tex mumbles

"We can't hear you!" Phobos says

"DON'T EAT BOOKS" The boy yells in his corner
