Siv grins then thinks on it "Piper love, why don't you stay here tonight. Won't kill you to have a warm day, come back tomorrow night. I told dad I'd be around for mom but you've already spoiled me and I WILL See you. I know the girls would love to have you pal around and such and you deserve some sun"

A chuckle. "Was a week of nursing enough to finally make you sick of me?" Fondly. "I think I will. I wanted to catch up with Neema and Bevara too."

"Oh yes, I can take so much fun and love and fussing" A wink "And good. Learn a new song for me. " A look to Jessica and another thought "How much do you know?" that asked softly

"Igraduated high school."

A roll of her eyes "oh now you get a sense of humor? I mean about the events with Gildas and such?"

"I got the warning, and Dad called after."

"Right" Siv nods "But did he give you many details? And.. how much do you want to know?" soft again

Catching a hint of the conversation, Piper leads Ellie to another area of the room. "Do you know Three Blind mice? I can sing it if you play along..."

"I do! And Friar Jacques, an Cucaracha..."

BALEFIRE: Jessica sighs. "Siv, have you heard about proving a negative? How am I supposed to answer that?"

BALEFIRE: "I mean.... 'Yes, please tell me all the details you have that the Chief and Mountain didn't because clearly they wanted me to know but neglected to mention?"

BALEFIRE: "Or 'Yes, please tell me how close my entire family came to being wiped out.'?"

BALEFIRE: She raises a brow "This is why I'm invited to more parties than you." Then she says "Fine. I'll tell you what I think you NEED to know, because by dad's own theory, mom's a bitt shaken... gett yourself a strong coffee, it's gonna be ugly for parts"

Jessica gets them each an espresso.

And Siv.. tells her sister everything she knows, and she knows a lot, having gotten stories out of folks who were there for each part of it.

"I think mom blames herself for every bad thing that happened to some degree. Dagmar too. It's the nature of our kith I guess, we... we want to be the ones to take the blows"

"Our kith, their rank.... they get a double dose."

"Knighthood is fine for me, thanks" She says "Aye. Mom IS Rivervale in a lot of ways, not alone, mind, but you know what I mean.. better than I " a glance to the fire "Dad wants me to hang close to home for a bit . So I've got that covered. But if you get time to drop by for dinner one night, it might make her day. "

"I'll try to make it."

"Thanks" She says and puts a hand on her sister "now, let me tell you about the imbolc, because, that was much nicer" And she relates how that went down,the food, the songs, the good times

And Jessica shares how Imbolc went down at Renaissance. ".... .and yes, I called and warned them about the Professor's book."

"Oh wow. Dad and mom will HATE that. "A pause "Me I kind of want a copy"

She gets a -look.-

"What? Oh come on, they've both lead amazing lives... is it a sin I take pride in that? And an interest? "

"Of course not, but some people don't want a lot of fuss made about what they do, Siv. Mom and Dad mostly fall into that catagory. Proud as I am of them, I wouldn't want to ever make them uncomfortable."

"I gget that" She says "But sometimes I think.. I think the world needs heroees, rolemodels. Signs good folks can make a difference, you know?"

"Yes, of course."

"THough to be honest, my chapter would pretty short compared to the saga of the rest of you" A grin "So I guess I'm not the one in the hot seat" A pondering "Professor Wayburton can be VERY stubborn at times. I wonder if I should talk to zane and ask him to intercede?"

"Let mom and dad handle it." Advice, not an order.

"Fine, but I will suggest they consider talking to Zane. If they take the advice so be it if not. .well not like most folks listen to me"

Spritely tooting and Piper singing along softly, pausing to repeat a note - She doesn't tell Ellie what note it is, but sings it a few more times until the little Sidhe picks up and covers the right hole, and is rewarded with a beaming smile!

Ellie is having a grand time. Possibly with a kitten-and-pooka audience, also.

Salma sits nearby, pretending to be engrossed in her book... but her foot taps along, betraying her.

Ariel grins and dances, she could sing, or play, but this is Ellie's moment and if Ellie learns more , they can play music together

The older satyr may not realize just how in her element she looks! Having a blast as she teaches them a cheesy song about goodness chasing badness away...

Ellie tries very hard! She has a good ear and is a quick learner, and is soon able to play the simple melody.

Ariel laughs at the song.

And Siv looks over, proud

Donquito, of course, naps.

Jess glances over as well, observing.

"Piper's good with kid" Siv says to her "Well, she's good with children"

"You've been spending too much time around Vali." Jessica observes dryly.

"Just saying, she was meant to share music and be patient" A pause and a whisper "but oh when she gets mad.. she fusses"

"Pretty common trait. No offence, just.... people get mad, they fuss."

"I was worried she was going to CLIMB up on me just so she could glare into my eyes last time I got her really riled. " But there's a fondness too "She's terrifying and adorable"
