Tweak doesn't get up from behind her desk.

Not that she's at ease. She snarls and fusses at papers and records and various prototypes within reach.

the papers scatter at her snarl. Some of the prototyes activate early hoping to escape.

She picks one up and gives it a good thump on the table.

The prototype bleeps..

and then it's axis aligns corrected.

"An' don' you ferget it," she mutters.

"What's this do?" A female voice, not one fo hers says in the 'do not press that button' room

"Wha?! Hey!" She turns in her swivel chair. "Whoever that be, you best get yer ass out of that room right th' fuck NOW."

"Just saying what's the point of a room full of buttons where all the buttons are labeled do not press that button?" The troll in silver and red looks...familiar, vagguely.

She frowns. "Who th' hell is you, and how th' hell you get in there?"

She does come out

"Oh. Sorry, Lady Captain Siv Waveborne ap Fiona. Countess is talking to the number one here or something? Told me to find a room to wait in"

"Wait, have we met?" She says

Tweak gives her a grumpish squint. "Oh. You th' kid sister."

"You done pick'd th' wrong room fer waitin' in."

"Not like there 'xactly be a lot of right rooms here."

"If I were Eiluned, I so would have pressed one. " A pause 'HEY, you're Tweak! Pardon" She bows "mama captaz? Dad talks about you. Rigger! We've seen each other once maybe? Oh wow. yeah, Countess is my sister"

"Yeah, I hear you be a bit of freak show. Dreamin' born, huh?" Another narrow look. "Love t' find out how that work."

"Well, you see when a mother and a father love each other VERY much..." Siv dimples

A wince. "Please. I wanna be thinkin' 'bout Rigger an' yer moms gettin' it on? Mus' be a goddam earthquake or somepin."

"Fair." She admits "Even I don't want to dwell on it and I'm Fiona. Truth, not sure what happened in the Dreaming that made me possible . No past lives though. I'm a bit like an Arcadian sidhe, only without the body jacking"

"But you still got th' notion that you gets t' go in places where you ain' s'posed to be," she snarks, jerking her head in the direction of the room with all the buttons.

"Rigger's girl a Fiona." She smirks. "Must give him a helluva headache on the regular."

"Hey, your room says do not press the button , not do nott enter the do not press the button room" Then a blush "Aye, da tries to be good. Mum too. No judgements from them, well, not often. And always they mean well. "

A smirk. "Yeah." Then it fades. "Well, it all nice bein' all chummy an' whatever, but I gotta kind of a goddam crisis goin' on, so that's the safer way out." She nods to a door opposite the button room door.

"Crisis? Does it have to do with the Yulestar trod?"

"No, it don't fuckin' have t' do wit' the...." A pause. "Th' what now?"

"It's one of the reasons sis and I came, I bring news from Rover Olgar.. the Yulestar created a multip prongred Trod of some sort, no silver.. Gold. It was brief and bright.. and incredibly powerful"

She stares. "You done see this thing? Gold trod? What it connecting?"

"Actually, the witness we have the best record of is from Sylvi, The Rover's daughter, Emmisary of the Lodge. "

Tweak doesn't seem to be listening to all the details. She punches an intercom button. "Number One, get yer ass back up here, double-quick!"
