Fontaine, with pants, walks about looking around

Ellie is hard at work, with papers and crayons.

"Have you seen the Countess , Countess?" Fontaine asks. The inaminae has trouble breathing away from his water, weak lungs is part of his nature

"She was by the Fire..."

"Thank you. I need to tell her her boy friend's finger is reattached"

"Oh, she'll fuss."

"Oh.. so I shouldn't tell her?" he stops "or should I take the finger back?"

"You should tell her, but she will fuss."

"Even though it is better NOW."

Fontaine says "Sometimes I do not understand meat people" he nods at the little one

"It's just how people are. Thank you for helping Mister Duff!"

"you're welcome. But I would probably help ANYONE reattach a finger. It's just the nice thing to do." And he moves towards the balefire

If JESSICA is there.. she might see Fontaine waving.

It takes a moment but she does look up. "Fontaine? Is something wrong?"

"No, his finger is reattached so there's no need for you to worry or fuss" he says "Just thought you should know"

"Who? What finger?" She stands.

"The Forefinger.. pretty important, but it's working now" Anod "He just needs to stay off for a week"

"WHO?"

"Oh,Duff. "

"DUFF LOST A FINGER!?!!"

"Well..." Fontaine ponders this then answers "he knew where it was at all times so I suppose not. But it was missing from his hand for a bit. ALL better!" Chipper

"Where is he now?"

"In the waters..." He says "Still healing. Oh careful. HE does not have pants. Iput up a warning sign..since that alarms you"

"Thank you." She remembers to stay as she heads for the springs.

And soon she approaches the springs.. which has a sign "Caution: Wet Floors. Naked troll"

She marches in nevertheless.

Looking a bit pale, is Duff, his tattoos on full display. His right hand is particularly pale. The healing waters run over him

"Dismemberment is not an acceptable exchange for being shot!"

His opens his eyes a bit "Hey, it's Tijuana, they haggle hard here" A flicker of amusement, weary amusement

"What happened?" She looks pissed, but her eyes scan him carefully.

"If I answer 'I got shot' you're going to get upset aren't you?" A brow

She sees other wounds on him as well, besides the hand, there are signs of now healing bullet wounds in belly and leg

"I'm already upset." she points out tensely.

"Point... 'I got shot' ... but you want to know details. It was a mortal robbery of my store. out of towners. They didn't know my rep. They're dead. I'm alive. I wanted to get my finger reattached and stay alive so I came here for the healing"

"Robbery?!?!"

"Tattoo shop. Dyes can be expensive. Maybe they liked my motorcycle and thought it meant I was rich" A shrug

"Duff......."

"Why don't you join me?" He motions to the water, "This is very comfortable"

She looks at him a moment. "Is the shop ok? Do you need someone to go.... um, clean up?"

"THe shop is.. being tended to. I know a Cleaner" the term has a capital C she can hear

She nods, not asking more.

"Jessica... you do understand, this is not your fault, not your perview.. not something you could have changed right?"

"Yes, I know."

"Is there pain?"

"Some" He admits though he doesnt' show it "A lot less thanks to the healing Fontaine has set up. Fenix is a marvel. " A pause "My hand still stings like hell"

"Would you like a drink?" Her manner and voice softening.

"THank you. I'm fine really or will be." he says "How's everything here? I didn't want to make a fuss and scare the kids. The decorations look amazing"

She cocks her head. "Duff, did you send the tree?"

"Not just me" He admits "You don't like it?"

"I like it; I just wondered where it came from."
