Jessica frowns. "She's a great asset to the County but.... you're right. I'll talk to her about it. Tomorrow."

"Well, she came here to fill in for Mitra. I don't think Mitra would have done as wel lwith the children to be honest"

A chuckle. "Still, not fair to Dame Ash.

"Should I make copies of the doodles the girls have? "

A few steps before Jess answers. "Yes. We might as well have copies. Good idea."

"I'll see to it" She says "Holger seems recovered from his bout of depression while Unseelie. I think we've lost Apuch"

"By lost I mean he's lost us. He's here somewhere"

"Slaugh.... do you think we should look for him?"

'As you say, sluagh. His kith enjoys being mysterious- let them. Besides, he's still a boy. We leave out some slightly rotted food and wait. He'll show up"

She nods. "I want to know when he does."

She nods "That said, while the.. mess is huge" She sighs "And is only now cleaning up, with the exception of Thallian we appear to have no injuries and nothing permanently damaged. Is it safe to call this Samhain a success?" She writes

"Yes." Firmly. "We'll re-evaluate if we find more."

"Excellent. " She says "And jjust on time here comes Diego"

"Yes, here comes Diego" Diego chimes 'no damage? Half my wine collection, GONE. "

"Well Diego.... Samhain. And just think of the fun of rebuilding it."

"How can I when my list involves libraries taking up our resources" Wrly

"The library and study are in HIGH demand" Constance says a bit defensive

"The library is taking up our wine resources?"

"How much are the books drinking?"

"I mean our budget" He fusses "Liquors cost money or dross, so do wines and other beverages"

Constance actually smriked a bit. At least one other caught Jessica's joke

"You're a resourceful man, Diego."

"Diego used to be a REBELLIOUS man, a revolutionary, " Diego says "Now I am bullied by adorable childlings who want 'just one more thing' and a Freeholder who thinks I can pull of miraclees. " He sighs "Very well. I know a fellow in Napa."

"Let me know if you need aid, Diego. If I can find it, I will. You've been a rock throughout all of it."

"I may take you up on that" He says "Oh... I got more crayolas for the girls." Mmh

"I am sure they'll be grateful. They used a great deal coloring."

"Well, I suppose" He says "But let me say that when I'm angry old silver haired grump who needs a walker... those girls better be pandering to me"

"I'm sure your generosity and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten." seriously.

"You'll be their favorite cranky old Uncle" Constance says straight faced

"Damn straight" Diego says and heads out.

"I feel kinda bad."

"It's his own fault. he's a push over for those girls. And it confuses him." Constance doesn't feel guilty at all "he has a hard time admiting he kind of likes a little noble sidhe. And he definitely is fond of Ariel and Salma. He lets them bully him horribly with requesTS. OH he grumbles, but he does it."

"I suppose there are worse fates."

"I might guess it's a fate you share, " A look at her "You adore Ellie almost as much as I adore Salma"

A short smile. "She's charming, and she hasn't had an easy road to where, and who, she is."

"Salma is devious, cunning, and voracious... and yet I admit, I find her a delight. she has a lust for learning and for books that matches my own. I wouldn'tmind a little boy or girl like her one day of my own"

A blink, but Jessica shakes her head. "A long long time from now. A Looooong time."

"Of course, we're both still young" A blush at something "Though since meeting Coy, I do wonder"

"More power to you." Jess is clearly NOT wondering.

A blush "Sorry. So life long bacherlette for you? "

"No, sorry Constance. If you decide to make that choice, more power to you! It's not for me. Not now, anyway. Not on the horizon. But, you know, there are lots of couples I know who are very happy together so...."

"So.." She nods "Yes. Rosa and Maria have high hopes for you and Duff. Maria says she prays for us both to be made into honest women"

Jess facepalms.

"They mean it well" She says "You can't stop boggans from gossiping. They'd explode"

"I don't want to stop them from gossiping but ...."

"Want me to have nancy encourage them to find a new target? She's got a gift for distracting them"
