Jessica inspects with care, and Constance.

Constance eyes the books "Salma?"

Ellie is delighted to find a lovely stash of crayolas!

New drawing ensues.

"It's a travesty!" She calls from somewhere.... within.

"None of these are in ORDER!"

"Perhaps." Jessica agrees.

"And the heads?"

"I don't know.. no blood on anyone's weapons here. " Constance says then hearing Salma sighs "Salma? It's going to take time. We may not have room for this many new books"

Ariel is shoving something into a closet in the girls bedroom

"Could we put some shelves in our room?"

Jessica shakes her head. "There wouldn't be blood left on the weapons."

"This one has BLOOD on it." She sounds OFFENDED.

"Shelves? I'll ask Coy" Constance says

Okay, that gets Constance racing to see!

It does. A copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. "That one too." Children of Blood and Bone. "But I can't pronounce the author."

"Bookshelves." She follows Constance.

"Oh" A relieved look

Jessica paces with Constance, and is just as relieved. "Selma, I think those are the titles. Just what the book is called."

If there WERE any books with blood on them, Salma nudges them out of sight. They might get taken away, and she still DOES need to read them.

"Bookshelves.. Ariel? What are you doing with the closet?"

"Nothing" Ariel says supporting it from falling open

"What's in the closet?" Ramona bounds ahead with a tiny 'mroop?'

"Nothing" Rattle

Jessica approaches the closet.

"err.." Ariel says "I don't remember most of it"

"That's fine, Ariel. Samhain is like that. But let me see, please."

She opens the closet

bags of candy, jack o lanterns, containers.. spill out

And Jessica, braced, examines inside.

there must be THIRTY bags of candy, fULL bags

Eyebrow.

Constance says "I don't think these are local"

"Of course not!" The satyress says offended

"Wow..."

"That's, like, ten years worth of candy."

"That is... a lot of candy." Jessica agrees.

"Thank you" Ariel chooses to take this as a compliment

"I think.... perhaps.... it should be rationed?"

Ellie examines the loot.

"Ohhh... it's candy AND jewelry!"

"Sorted, first, of course."

"It is? " A surprised look. She didn't remember much but.. "Uh sort it and ration it? Can Ellie help me?"

"Yes, of course. Selma too if you both like."

"Save me some?" She calls. "No sticky fingers, then the pages get stuck and I don't know what happened in betweens!"

But she peers over, asking, as though uninterested. "Were there any of those little marzipans?"

"Maybe.. I'll check but it could be a while"

"Constance...." she murmurs "Will you see if you can find Dame Ash to help out here?"

"Salma, do you want a necklace? There's necklaces AND rings! But the ring is a lollipop!"
