"How do you ... make it go away faster?" the boy asks

"Sometimes it helps to actively practice the Seelie code, but..... eventually you have to go through it."

He nods "Gracious, Countess. I just don't want to fell the little comtesse, or Ariel, or Salma..or even Pachu"

"You wont." She sound certain.

He pondersthis, then nods

Duff says "Go get some hot coco. It may help"

"Excellent advice."

"Si. Hot coco is nice" he moves off though he is not sure he deserves it

Duff looks at her once the boy is gone "Okay. I actually DO feel sorry for him."

"Do you think this is his first Samhain?"

"Not likely, but it maybe the first one where he slipped before the mists came in?"

"That would make sense."

"Summerstryke did his level best to keep Unseelies out, no doubt he fought Samhain with tenacity"

"That is very true. " she agrees.

"The man was a bigot, a dangerous one, but mmm " Amused "I wonder how things will go at the Skyhook?"

"I'm kind of glad I won't be there."She confesses.
