"So, the circle..." Ellie walks Sayda through parries, making it a lot like a dance.

Ariel gets the dance part "hey, I could do that"

"You'll get a chance "Mitra says "And Salma? You need to atl east get the basics"

Sayda nods and moves as directed, parrying and picking up the pattern

She shakes her head vigorously. “Um. No, please.”

A look to Jessica from Mitra "Well, she's one of your wards. Your call"

“Princesca will protect me.” Confident.

Ellie bites on her lip, suddenly frowning.

Ariel syas "And so will Holger.. and me!" A nod

Then the satyr adds "My archery lessons are going good"

Salma notices Ellie’s frown, and ducks behind her book. Then peeks out again, worried.

Sayda says "But Salma, everyone should learn how to defend themselves a little. "

“Knowledge is power.” She taps her book.

Sayda raises a brow and huffs.

"Skill at weapons is a type of knoweldge, as the young countess has shown. Excellent fencing form" Mitra says

Swishy-bow to Mitra.

“I do not WANT to fight. If I did, I’d have hands instead of hooves.” She hides her hands in her sleeves, with just enough dexterity left to hold the book.

Sayda ponders then looks at Mitra "I could..."

"No," Mitra says to the Cluirchaun

"Fine" Sayda sighs

Ellie fidgets, just a little. Worried about something.

"What's wrong, Elllie?"

"Nothing..."

“Princesca?” Salma edges closer, peeping around her book. “Do you WANT me to fight?”

"No..."

She tugs at her ears. “Then, por que are you stealing Eeyore’s face?” Making a frown to mimics Ellie’s own.

"I just.. I.. what if I can't?"

“Ooooh. Then our Cabracita will. Or Holger. That’s why we have each other. Though someone is always the best. Like me. At stories.”

"SPeaking of stories.." Mitra says "My liege. I received Fenix's writ of tribute? I was surprised at the form it took"

Salma is curious, they mentioned stories...

"I assume it was yours. It had the Fenix seal... or maybe it was a very detailed crayola drawing of same?" Arch brow "it said the Pitt got only a one star rating for books, and so would need to contribute books directly. So..." She lays the package down and opens it "In tribute to Fenix, we bring to you 'The Song of the Lioness' by Tamora PIerce... Paperbacks, and in audiobook."

Salma ducks behind her book, and starts sidling towards the door.

"One star was harsh" Sayda sighs

“But fair...” she murmurs.

Ariel's eyes bug out,then sort of looks side ways where a certain pooka slips

"...audiobook?" Perks.

"Yes. Basically it allows you to listen to the books from a narrator. For those times Salma is not about"

Ariel quickly says "But Salma is the best Audio book"
