And it looks like EVERYONE is ready to go. Jessica feels like she's leading an old west caravan

Jess does one more last check, saddles up on Cynder, and motions. "Let's go."

Ariel is in a better mood now that Ellie has forgiven! "Mule train.. hooooo" A pause as she realizes what she said "oh Salma I'm so sorry"

Salma grins. "A mule is half-horse, half burra. I am not SO fond of Sir Buce."

"Salma is a burra, not a mule. Burros are cuter."

A blush on Ariel's face at Salma's comment

Then she throws in "Yes. Burra train hooooo" Correcting

Ash looks at the girls then speaks to Jessica "I think they're excited"

Ellie stands UP in the carriage, leaning over the side for a good look.

"Good."the troll approves. "Ihope this will be a fiesta, of sorts."

"Ellile, make sure you don't fall over" Ash says

"I won't!"

"Will we stop for lunch, or do we have snacks?" Salma worries, thinking ahead.

Duff doesn't say anything. His hand is near his holster. He watches the windows

When Ellie spots fae observers - ones she doesn't know from inside the hold, she gives them a bright smile and a perfectly-practice princess wave.

"Both."Jess responds to Salma. "There should be a basket in there, and we'll stop to eat something more substantial."

"Can we get tacos from a cart?"

Jessica sees a troll kinian, glowing with enchantment, his boggan daughter on his shoulders, the man yells with gusto "Larga vida a la feugo libre! Bienvenido al heredero.!" The daughter cheers too

Ariel is already digging in the cart

Others cheer similar

A sigh. "Not llama libre....."

Salma is giggling behind a hand.

"Forget lucha libres, how looks the lunch libre?"

"Salma, we just left." mildly "Have a snack if you need one."

Ariel says "Oh we got lots of options here."

"Rosita was saying senors will go out with a cart full of tacos, or tamales, or rellenos, and walk up and down the streets - like an ice cream truck, but smaller! And full of tacos!"

A nod. "I have seen these carts."

"Do you think they will have elotes?" Salma looks excited. "Oh, or mangoes? Amigas, have you have fruit with salt and chile? I promise, it is not a prank, it is GOOD."

"May we please have a cart-taco if we find one?"

"Yes."

"Muchas Gracias, Senora!"

More cheers... and .. there are vendors. Holding up little banners with flame symbols on them.. One says "For the children!" Offering tiny flags up to the caravan

Jessica keeps an eye open to possible threats, but does not interfere unless it seems a threat will materialize.

"Can we have the cute little flags please?" Ariel says

Jess nods yes.

"Gracias!" Her spanish is still limited, but she knows that one. She merrily waves the little flag.

Oh the childlings taking and waving the tiny flags seems to just set folks off with delight! "¡Nuestro condado es fuerte!" a boggan yells in a surprisingly deep voice.

Salma peeps out, but blushes a bit at the cheering and ducks away.

Duff leans over to Jessica "Nobody gets riled for a party like mexicans. "

An eyebrow. "Lil stereotype, Duff....."

Ellie pats Salma's hand, and gives her a little flag.

"Little bit" he nods "But not without some truth to it. You prefer I simply say the Irish are amateurs?"

And she tucks it into Ellie's braid with a grin!

"I don't know that nationality has to come into it. Lots of people like to party." She keeps a sharp eye over things.

"I think it's because, a lot of folks in poorer countries have less, when they get to celebrate, they treasure it all the more. So much bitter, so they are not quiet about celebrating the sweet. They don't take it for granted, if that makes sense?" Duff says "But yes yes, broad brush and all that" His eyes follow one fellow in the crowd who appears to be glaring.

For the most part though, this part of hte County, Jessica's home ground, is giving them a big and happy send off!

"Salma!" Giggles.
