"Me neither, " A beat, "Are .. you alright?"

"Oh yeah."

"Okay. You got that funny 'not here' look you get now and then"

"Oh... I just.. I dream when I'm awake, sometimes."

"I daydream too" She says

"One time, I dreamed about riding a cloud shaped like a dragon, a fluffy dragon"

"Oh! That sounds so SOFT..."

"In my daydream it was! A very squishy dragon"

"I wonder if it would feel like giant cotton balls..."

"In my dream it was kind of like the worlds fluffiest stuffed animal"

"Ohhhh. And it FLEW."

"Yep, nice dream."

"Thanks. I Liked that one. Lot less strange than the one where I'm in a crate with other boys and girls my age being pulled by this big green leafy plant with arms and legs... and then suddenly.. BOOM we're bowled over and all the kids go splat splat splat and the vegatable grabs his head and goes "noooo my childlings!'"

"You have weird dreams."

'I KNOW"

"Salma, do you ever have daydreams?"

"Oh, I dream all the time. Like right now, I am dreaming that there would be tres leches cakes for supper."

"Mmmm."

"But maybe dessert?"

"Milk makes a body fuerte... tres leches, even more so." And she mimes flexing a muscular arm. "Think how many more books I can carry."

"Salma, I know your glasses are letting you read more but you don't gotta read a years worth of books in just a month." the satyress assures.

"No, I guess not." She rubs a toe in the dirt a little sheepishly.

"Then again..." Ariel admits "if it makes you Happy... guess it's not a gotta but a wanna"

She flashes a grin at Ariel.

"It's terrible, you see, I have to read them all so that I know which ones are the best to share."

Ariel blushes "Awww you're always doing nice things for us. "

"it is a terrible burden!"

"But I am the beast for it." A proud smile.

"Well... if she reads so many books a month, then it's a month's worth..."

"Can you imagine if she won a lifetime supply, how big it'd be?"

A snicker from Ariel "if Ariel got a four bedroom house, with one library, she'd flip it around to make it a four library house with ONE bedroom. Make a home for wayward bookwyrms"

"Oh, you tease too much. See, my ears are turning red. Or maybe that Bonk dipped them in paint." A giggle. "Do you think he still has sparkles?"

A good ole laugh "He probably lights up like a firefly when ever he spins"

"Bonk was not so bad... I hope he's okay."

"Oh he's fine. Took it with good humor" then a confession "I thought the glitter in his plates made him look like a knight in sparkly armor"

"Glitter armor."

"I wonder if a smith could mix glitter in forgingan armor? Huh"

"If I ever get armor, I want it to have purple glitter."

"Ooo that would be so you"

"We need more princesses as knights."

"Well, there's She-Ra, does she count?"

"I think so."

"Well, there you go." She says with a smile

"Oh mhy gosh.. Salma's reading again. " A sigh "Only one thing to do..grab OUR favorite books and join her"

"Oh!"

"Will you help me read mine?"

"Sure.. don't know how much help I'd be but together..." They soon will get a book to share
