Salma tugs at her ears in dismay, trying not to laugh.

Bonk nods again "Caboose to the train of fools" He bows

Ariel is flushing

as a redhead, she doesn't get a choice

Ears are pulled down over her eyes and held tight to hide behind! "Ariel!" She whispers to the little satyr, "Please tell me when it is over, I hate watching beheadings!"

Ellie... fidgets.

Ariel whispers "If by beheading you mean an ass whupping i..oh, sorry, bad choice of words"

"You are willing, then?" She asks of the jesters.

She peeks out behind her ears, managing not to giggle.

Bonk says "As the French say, you betch your sweet patootie"

Slap and Dash , not being pooka, are easier to understand "Unless we get a permanent job elsewhere at another hold, and if we do we'll certainly let you know." Dash says/ Slap adds "You're people have been gracious and a delight"

Tonto smiles and mimes a cowboy hat "I am your Huckle bull"

He actually looks to be tearing up just a bit at the honor

Diego is drinking from his wine a lot. Just sips, mind

Jessica nods. "Good, I'm glad to hear it."

Ellie drifts over to pat Tonto's hand.

Salma makes her way back over to where she can speak to Ellie when she's free.

Phobos nods "I'll escort the losers ..err non regulars out"

He tries, really he does

A wave to get the small Countess's attention.

"Thank you, Phobos. Everyone, please. Um, be at ease."

"Salma?"

"Por favor, please do not let the other jesters leave before we can give them a present to thank them for their jokes..." And she leans in and whispers to Ellie quickly.

Shaking her head frantically, as she gestures to them and whispers.

Ellie listens carefully... then. a nod. "Oh, yes! yes, it would be terrible. Countess, may I and my companions make cards for the Jesters before they leave?"

Sir Phobos stops. Ellie has begun to learn that while he IS scary, he does seem to yield to the authorities mmore than his brother. This is reassuring

"Of course, Eleanor."

Salma is carefully straight faced as she curtseys to Jessica!

"We will make haste!"

And the girls race off, Ariel coming along whispering "What are we doing?"

"I thought we were making cards?" She asks, as they hurry out!

"We are! The crayons are in our room!"

"...and the glitter."

"Did .." A snicker now that they are in the halls "Did you see.. Jessica's.." Giggle "Butt?"

"We'll make haste first, then make cards after." She grins. "Oh yes. See, Sir Bonk, he should be a donkey, for what he does to bottoms. Tsk! Shame! We will reward him with a card that he will remember for a long time, as long as the glitter lasts."

"I saw. I think Jessica would be hurt if we laughed, though..."

Ariel nods "I tried to be SOOOO good"

"Oooo GLITTER.." Ariel gets it "Duh! "

And when they settle into the crafts room, Salma folds, folds, and folds again a little bit of paper, so that it has some SPROING to it, and carefully will tuck that into Bonks card along with a little packet of sparkles, taped to be closed just as long as the card is closed...

"Slap and Dash are one act, but they get TWO cards." She insists. "Because it is fair."

Ariel helps with the doodling!

"Yes, but see, Salma is clever..."

"Salma's gonna out pook Bonk" A nod

"Two cards!" Ellie works on drawing two stick figures with foolscaps.

The other two jesters get s dust of glitter on their cards as well, but just on the fronts. "It IS pretty."

"But it does not go away..."

"He will remember that Here, we PROTECT our Condesa." She says stoutly.

She covers her mouth a little though. "It was NOT funny even." Hiding a tiny grin.
