Ellie nods vehemently. "Jessica is very kind. She deserves to be happy."

"Mmm Mr. Duff will need help.." A mutter of Maria

"Si"

"Mr. Duff is nice."

They exchange a look, "Mr Duff, he is.. more dangerous than many men"

"But not to Jessica. " Another says

"He is like a wolf. Dangerous to anyone who would hurt his pack."

"He thinks he is a lone wolf" Maria says with a roll of her eyes

Rosalita says "Si, and Countess Jessica thinks she has a pack but dare not get too close. IT is hard to say which is... more..." Searching for a word

"Oh..." A little frown.

"That seems messy. They should be more sensible."

"Sensible is a good word" Maria says "But one must be careful. THe Freeflame will not like being told how sense goes"

"No, I suppose not. But usually grown ups LIKE cooties."

"The cooties of the heart scare some far more than the other type" Rosa says

"Maybe. I will marry for some alliance, I'm sure."

"You are young yet, and who knows what maybe, do not give up on love too soon no?"

"Maybe! But not until I am old, like, sixteen!"

"I think that's when you're supposed to fall in love, at least that's how it is for princesses..."

Some whispered Spanish and amused looks, but the ladies said "Is okay. When you are sixteen we will help you find a good boy to be in love with " "Yes, first crush"

"Oh, that's very sweet! Gracias!"

They nod and clean up.

Holger walks by patroling, well, training to patrol.

"I must check on Mamacita... hola, Holger!"

Holger sees her, and then bows "Condessa, Hola."

A sunny smile. "I am going to check on the gatos."

"Pardon, " he starts to speak in spanish then... says "May.. I?"

"Si! Vamanos!"

She heads off for the library (and kittens!)

And they go to see the little ones...

The kittens are just starting their fourth week

She picks up the kitten to return her to the drawer.

Holger strokes the little kitten who seems to have gone in circles and gotten lost

"Si" A smile then "I'm..good." A nod "I train hard"

"Si!" Agreeable.

All of the kittens are more romp-ish, and Ellie sets the grey one in front of Holger.

He gets a bit of ribbon and tries to promote the kitten into action
