Ash leans over and whispers to Jessica "Got any favorites, your excellency?"

"They all seem to play to their appreciative audience." Quiet approval. "I wonder how they might approach a member of the court who is in a sour mood?"

"You want me to send them after Demos and see which ones come back with all their fingers?"

Bonk has taken armodillo form and is now racing along making car sounds

"No." Try.

She tugs on Ariel's sleeve to point at the racing 'dillo!

Ariel snickers when she sees and cheers him on.

Ash gets a hunch, then says "Send them out in the hold see how the rest of the staff period interacts?"

"Shouldn't we warn them?"

"I think dealing with jesters is a fine test for them as well, and it's not like most fools politely ask if they can play through. Seems a good test and you want to watch how they're doing yes?"

Jessica nods. "Yes. Ok, go ahead."

"Go forth, good jesters, and explore, bring joy" Ash says "As the Freeholder decrees"

"Oh, aren't they WONDERFUL?"

"Springdale got jesters on holidays..."

Tonto pulls out a kazoo and plays a tune like at the horse races

and the Jesters head off!

Jessica beckons Ellie closer for a moment.

Ariel says "They're fantastic... I like em all"

Ellie heads over to the Big Countess.

"I would like your input on this decision. Can you keep an eye on how it goes?"

"Can I help?" Ariel asks both

Jessica looks at Ellie.

A somber nod. "I can help."

"Thank you. Go on, then." Gently encouraging.

"You can watch through the flowers, I think!"

Then she takes Ariel's hand. "Kitchen!"

And off Ariel goes, hand in hand with Ellie to the kitchen

Ash looks over at Jessica ""watch through the flowers? "

A nod. "She has been planting flowers. I'm not sure why or where she got them but.... they form a.... a network? I can see different areas here in Fenix. She has been tending them. No doubt, when she inherits, she will see through them too."

"I found one when I was getting flowers for you... but that one was special, so it wasn't for just picking."

"Amazing..."

Ellie's voice calls from the hallway leading to the kitchen.

"I'll ask her more about it later."

Oh the things that go on. Tonto makes Pie puns ... Bonk steals a pie. Slap and Dash steal the pie from him ...

the boggans laughed ath te puns, then fuss at pie theft

"They'll give the pie back, or it wouldn't be a joke." Confidently.

As the two piskies are chastised they protest their innocence and point to the pie returned

"See? They're good."

Well, BONK looked tempted to maybe not return it...

Tonto has moved to the study... but when he sees the kittens he smiles and forgets he's supposed to be entertaining

Then, realizing his mistake, he pulls out colorful ribbon, touches it.. and sets the ribbons to floating around Mamacita! Then he plays with a kazzoo...

instead of snake charming, he cat charms, Marion is dignified.. she will not be lured into such games as ...

ooooh the ribbons are taunting her!
