Sir Phobos eyes the new visitors. He doesn't like em, but he's got to do this job honorably, "I am Sir Phobos, Champion and HERALD of the Countess who you hope to serve. I have died for her, but I've killed more often. We have fought back raiders and ravagers, slain the thirsty dead, and fought things so strange there are no words in TWO languages. So.. follow the Escheat, show respect to the Countess, do not interfere with her duties. "

"AND NO FUNNY BUSINESS! " He snarls

The newcomers blink at him and swallow. Tough order to follow

The condesita is out and about on a mission, carting a watering can.

The somewhat cowed jesters watch her go by.

But one lady jester waves at her, then seems to realize that's a countess... bows.. bows too far.. and ends up on her head looking confused. Another Jester with her, gasps and tries to twist her right...spinning her... and then getting 'kicked' in the jaw as she comes around again.

Big eyes!

She covers her mouth because she WANTS to giggle.

The fellow pratfalls flat.. and the lady jester gasps, and somersaults over to her would be rescuer and tries to give him first aid... alas, this as he tries to rise up, so her applied pressure knocks him down as he tries to sit up in an odd 'pop clang pop clang' motion

A giggle escapes!

It's cleared these two are a partnership, for they work well together.

(Meanwhile, Jessica is in the Balefire room working.)

Finally the lady jester pushes not the chest, but his foot, this causes him to fall over her... looking at her shapely rump. Suddenly a HAPPY look crosses his face, and his hand goes close to her lovely rear...

And her pants GROWL, like a dozen angry dogs!

He jerks his hand back

She gives him a LOOK

He smiles REAL Big

She goes "Mmph' and to defend her honor, draws forth a large fish.

He bows...as both rise, and he draws his own weapon, a rubber chicken.

Back to BIG EYES.

And they duel!

Dame Ash says to Jessica "You've got Jesters in the hallway. I think one couple is trying to make demonstratation for Ellie. It's entertaining"

A giggle as the fish wobbles and the chicken squeaks.

Indeed, these are not the proper tools for epee fighting!

"Jest.... Oh God, is that today?"

"Looks like" Dame Ash says to her, "Shall I let them in?"

"That is NOT a riposte!"

"I suppose so. Yes."

More giggling.

Dame Ash says "Countess Jessica will see the first.. oh you two come in..."

"Ellie? Care to join us?"

And the dueling couple continue their fight as they wind their way before the throne....While Jessica has missed some of the plot, she can see that behind the absurdity of a Rubber chicken Fish duel.. there's a lot of acrobatic skill displayed! She swings low with the Fish... and he jumps it, he moves to slap his counterpart with a Rubber chicken and she bends VERY limber back so that she sees Jessica.

"Oh... oh, I have one more flower. I'll be right there!"

"Hello, your excellency" the woman says as she bends "is this a good enough bow?"

It's backwards mind you

The girl rushes to the atrium. Day three, flower number seven...

Yes, best to hurry, time...

The female jester then snaps back and head butts towards the male jester who tries to block with a rubber chicken. it bonks them both as a result and they fall on their asses rubbing the heads.

Duty before pleasure. She made a promise!

Fontaine's magic water pours on the crack in the cobbles, as she sings.

"It's.... certainly a very flexible bow."

And the flowers , all three, burst and grow emerald petals, sanquine stems... glistening....

and the Balefire sings near Jessica, possibly distracting her from the jesters

Eleanor smiles like the sun. She's sure the rest have also bloomed, if the Atrium did so so.. explosively...

Oh they're all large and luscious

"Hello." She pats the blossom gently, as if it were a puppy.

No voices this time, but a sense of gratitude and pride jolts through the little countess.

JESSICA suddenly can..SEE... a s if she were standing in multple rooms and areas at once. It's more 'real' than a camera monitor station...

Jessica stares into the Balefire, oblivious to others in the room.
