"I think Phoebe will do really well. Ariel, will you sing? Maybe Nancy will, satyrs are good at music..."

"Well, some satyrs are GREAT, others are just better than average and do something else... but yeah, we got an edge" Ariel blushes "I don't know if I dcould compete with wilders thoguh or grumps"

"Well, then you could just be the best childling bard."

"Bard ? NO.. Troubadour maybe, Bards are..well, they're never supposed to lie. And they don't just sing, they know whole histories"

"Yeah?"

Salma nods. "I like all of the singers, Ellie, do you sing? I bet it sounds as pretty as you look. Or if it didn't no one would notice."

"I like to sing..."

"Not me, so you can take all of my turns."

"Oh, well, it's okay to sing, Salma. Sometimes it just FEELS good or fun.. you don't have to be the best, or even good at it if you aren't. It's just.. it's good for the soul"

"Don't you like to sing along to movies?"

"Oh, that's okay. Manuel - that was a good friend of mine - he told me I had best only sing as a burra because then at least people would expect a bray." A small smile. "It must be because I have twice as many hooves as a satyr, I can sing nearly half as well."

"Manuel sounds mean."

"Oh, no, lady. See, only a TRUE friend would be so honest."

Ariel wrinkles her nose "He could still word it nicer"

"I bet you're super cute as a burro."

"Si, and I can eat up the extra silage so you don't have to pay for extra food." A pause. "Churros are better, though."

"Churros are the best." Firm agreement.

"The last Churro is for the burro" Ariel smiles

Giggle.

"I don't mean that mean, Salma... but it's a cool rhyme" Ariel says

"I do not mind, because I get the last churro." A grin.

"That's a good point!"

"ha, yeah. My rhyme isn't as tasty. ..the Girl Satyr gets the last Tomater" Wink

Another giggle.

Ariel sucks in the giggles as praise "My friend the sidhe gets the last... cup of tea? Mmm we can do better than that" She ponders

"...Cookie?"

"oo yes. My friend the sidhe gets the last cookie!"

More giggles.

Rosa looks out "HOw you know we had cookies?"

"Wait, there ARE cookies?"

"Si... Chocolate Chip. We have a recipe from the DeBuke Hearths.. for the Chocolate Chip the way..."

Ariel's mouth begins to drool a little "She shared her recipe?"

"Oooo..."

"For you, of course, Ariel. They love you"

"You always have cookies, Senorita. That's why we visit, to help make sure they do not overrun the Cocina."

"It is important work."

Ellie is in a giggly mood, it seems.

"Well, we made too many so it would be nice if you would each have two instead of just one" Rosilita says

"Heck fire I could eat a dozen.. I shouldn't, but i could" Ariel says

"Gracias por the dos cookies, Senorita Rosalita!"

Ariel then says to Salma and Ellie "The dough is SO good by itself, but with the chocolate... oh my word"

"Bueno!" Rosa hugs the little Countess.

She hugs Rosa back, beaming.

"Oh you are way ahead of me" Ariel says

"You catch up, now come come.." Rosa says and gets them two chewy fresh cookies with large chips the size of a human's fingernail.
