"I had a friend whose Pápa worked at the Mercado, and he forgot to write the sign correctly, and someone came and bought him up because it said he was on sale for 50 cents a pound. See, it is important to learn." She tells Ellie and Ariel with a somber truthfulness. Oh, but her left ear twitches a touch, it always does when she jests, giving her away.

"Gracias, Scribe Constance. Salma, do you want potatoes?"

Ariel grins "DeBukes could get you a better price on potato dads, taht's what they'll say. Come on"

"Oh, only if they fry it up with chorizo and peppers. Do you like spicy, Ellie? We should find out!" And she laughs at Ariel.

"What's chorizo? I'll try it!"

"Choroz..we could ask" Ariel says "Chorizo" As they head to get their meals

And they go! "I wonder if Mamacita likes chorizo. If not, I will bring her some steak, she likes that best of all." And, they are off.
