Holger has one hand on a slice of food, the other near his hilt as he guards/munches

"She's a childling." Jessica says quietly, for Duff.

Holger is also offered crayons and paper, if he wants!

"Oh, yes. " He nods "A sweet girl. But if you die tomorrow, she inherits. Folks have a right to test that" A nod and squeezes her hand. "To question. Though maybe he could have done things a bit easier I agree. "

"Hmmph."

THen a pause "Want me to beat him up behind the bleachers after school?"

"No, Duff." She doesn't sound like she appreciates the joke.

He sighs "My humor needs work clearly"

"Don't worry about it."

He puts an arm around her "She held well.. as well as any seven year old can. They like her. And more.. did you hear her answers? She is dedicated to their care. At seven"

"A good start, if painful. Time will tell."

The locals make a fuss over the young Countess... and Ash stays a watch ful eye, "How tired are you girls?" She knows a sugar rush might end soon

"Not tired! We have to give out flowers!"

"Flowers? Oh you three are not going flower shopping out there alone"

"No, we made them!" Dame Ash is handed a purple-and-black daisy.

"oh.. these are.. lovely" She takes hers "Thank you"

"Senoras Rosalita and Maria!"

They turn "Si? Did you want some juice?"

"I made flores for you!"

"Ooooo look a rose like my name " rosa says "Even better than the ones in those fancy stores too!"

Maria takes hers "Oh yes, much better"

"de nada!" Proud and pleased.

"And they're learning Spanish" A nod

The girls are fussed over... and the event goes well

Soon enough, everyone has a flower drawing from either Ellie or Ariel!

Duff looks a bit nonplused.

But says "Gracias"

"Muchas Gracias." Jessica accepts hers.

Jessica's is blue and yellow!

"Muy bonito. Why blue and yellow?"

Ariel says "I can guess"

"Well... the gold crayon is kind of yucky..."

Ariel can't con taine "Blue for the liam and gold..err yellow for the Gwydion falcon..because your mom and pop"

She nods. "That makes sense."

Nod-nod-nod!

"And maybe for it's a BIG GOLD FENIX on Ocean Blue ?"

"Could be!"

"Because you need a flag!"

"I, um, I have one. It was made for me."

"Yeah?"

Jessica nods. "It's in my room. Um. In a chest."

"Why is it put away?"

"I just... It's new. I mean, recent. I haven't hung it up yet."

"Can we see it?"

"Um. I'll go get it." And she does.
