"breakfast would be nice. Is there orange juice?"

"There is" She nods "This way to the dining room"

"A common hall? With everyone?"

"Not that many are up at this time, and yes." Ash says "If you do not know people, how can you serve them?"

"That... makes sense. I always had breakfast with lessons at home."

"At the famr we eat at a great big table.. there are shifts cause so many but almost no one eats alone" Ariel says. Some part of her wonder why 'common' hall would be a bad thing.. but she lets that slide

"You have to be so careful when you're eating, though. Make sure you do everything right..."

"You do?" Ariel says stunned as the ywalk "I mean.. I WASH my hands" They are lead into the dinning area

"Well, there's a lot of rules...."

"So, if eating in a hall, with the populace, you have to mind that you're being watched. And you must eat a little of everything, and you can't ever have seconds because that would be gluttonous."

"Even if it's cake."

"UGH! That's a terrible rule" Ariel is appalled

The Dining Room:
Off from the kitchen, but also with access from the main area, is the
dining room. Dominated by a long elegant table with high-backed chairs that could easily
accommodate up to ten individuals. Above it, hangs a glorious chandelier that breaks into
song every now and then, mostly works by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It’s actually pretty good.

The chair at the head of this table is the only one with arm rests. It has a twofold
enchantment upon it. One is a +2 Dice to resist all poisons (or digestive problems), the other
is it redirects all farts from the user to appear to be coming from some other chair.

"If you're being served en chamber, you can not eat something if it's icky."

"Ain't every room a chamber?" They look into the dinning area "Oo fancy" She says

It would appear they've woke up before most of the wilders and grumps, who probably did exhausting adult things

"Sure, but it's... just... there's rules..."

"Well, I mean you cant reach too far and shouldn't burp or yell too loud..and wash your hands but other than that..." Ariel says

"Oh no, there's rules about what fork and how to set your napkin..."

"This is a pretty room." She declares.

Rosa comes out, "Glad you like, the Freeflame does not use it often. She prefers to eat in the ktichen... but it is nice this gets use. Now.. how do you like your omlettes?"

"Big" Ariel says

Then she adds "Por Favor"

"Good morning, Miss Rosalita. May I have one with cheese, please? And orange juice?"

She looks around. "If it's just us, Dame Ash, this would be almost like being en chamber, right?"

"Of course" She says and smiles "ANd you, Dame Ash?"

"A touch of pepper on it, por favor," The knight says "And juice for me as well. " Then to Ellie "I suppose it might, though the room is not closed to others and they might come in later."

"So better safe than sorry?"

"If you like" she says and moves a chair for the countess to take a seat. NOT at the head of the table

And so Ellie shows Ariel alllll the utensils, and how to set one's napkin, and how to hold the fork and knife just so and how one MUSTN'T set them down this way, because it sends a message, but it's okay to rest them that way...

Ariel tries to learn, she really does, but half way through she declares "I'm GLAD i'm a commonor. Or I would Starve"

"Well... commoners don't have to do all that, no, I don't think."

"Mm well , maybe enough for knightly so I can eat with my brother" She says

"Knights... well, napkins, at least."

AN AMUSED look from the knight at the table at that. The Omlets, of course, are delicious

Ellie has obviously spent most of her fosterage in "lessons" as she said - tiny bites, dainty chewing, measured sips of juice. Unlike the first night where she devoured churros in desperation, she's the picture of manners... not childlike at all, save, perhaps, how seriously she takes it.

Ariel tries to follow the example, but the sidhe childling might envy the way the satyress can just take a BIG bite now and then.

"What did we miss?" Ariel asks Ash "I mean.. did the beltaine party that night go well?"

Oh, absolute envy.

She does eat every bite of her eggs, though.

"Quite well. We had a bonfire, and gentleman did offer ..well, services such as carrying things for ladies in a fund raiser for charities." Ash says

"Oh, I'm sorry I missed the fire...."

"Well, it's okay. Some of the dancing around it was pretty exhausting" she says

"I liked the storyteller. He had good stories... "

"ike the tortoise and the hare and not to take your gifts for granted or even the slowest creature might beat you just because you took them for granted"

"Uh-huh... and determination wins in the end."

The door opens from the main hall and two sidhe men come in talking "So we raid the snakes and gather what we..." Their voices stop as they realize this room is occupied.

"Good morning, gentlemen."

THey bow low "Our apologies" Say the blonde one, "We didn't mean to intrude. We shall find another locale to break fast"

"Certainly not, this is for everyone... right, Dame Ash?"
