"Jessica, the only Llliam Pooka I've ever seen at your hold was Ricardo, and he.. well, you know"

And both might notice the lovely tapestry someone did of Ricardo's likeness

She swallows. "I know." She looks at the tapestry for a long moment.

She approaches the textile.

It's not new.. too new.. they began it on the day Ricardo died... or so she was told

Jessica looks around for one of the old crew; Maria, Rosalita... as much as she hates to think it, even Necropsis.....

Diego is talking to a young nocker.. Betrand

"Jessica, Joyous Beltaine... " Diego waves to her "Please, have you met Betrand?"

Jessica beckons him over to her. "I, um, I don't recall...." Nockers tend to be unique; she tries to place the wilder.

"Shucks ma'am.. I think I seen you at firnost back when I was a kid. I work in glass? We didn't talk much at all" Betrand says

"Right!" Memory kicks in. "Sorry, Betrand. God, it seems like forever ago. And, you've grown." She observes.

"Yes, ma'am. Thansk for the invite here... even if it is a working vakay os to speak..."

"He's going to help with the glasses for our newest childling" Diego says "Oh, you wanted to speak to me about something?"

She takes Diego aside to the tapestry. "What do you know about this piece?" Very serious.

"The Tapestry? the local pooka and boggans and some nockers worked together ot make it over the course of.. must have been three months. Rosa and Maria helped"

Diego looks confused "Do you not like it? I thought it a fine likeness"

"It is but... does it... um. Come to life?"

"if it does, it's new to me" He says

Childlings from the general area look about as they play their games.

"Diego, has there been a llama pooka here today that you've seen?"

"No... but I did get woken up"

"Early I mean"

"Childlings wanted crayons. I had to finagle fast to get it."

"I'm sure you made their day. Thank you for the work. No llama?"

"No Lllama" He says

"A llama served me my ice cream, Diego."

"You realize how weird that sentence sounds right? Maybe there's aanother Llama pooka around but why would he serve you someone else's goods?"

"Pooka."

"We don't have... we haven't had.... any llama pooka except Ricardo, right?" She scours her memory.

"No we haven't, but in a world with metamoprhisis... and Chicanery, perhaps someone took a likeness?"

A troubled scowl.

She takes a moment, and works her face into a more pleasant expression. "Maybe so. I don't like it but.... as long as it's not for a nefarious purpose... I guess it's not against the Escheat."

"I suppose not, but you wouldn't be the only one to find it rude" He admits "Forgive me , Jessica. I am not at the top of my game.. I woke up and just like a bottle of wine, GOOD wine, in order to provide for three little girls who needed Crayons.." An eye roll

Jessica's expression is... fond. "You're a good man, Diego. Let me know how I can replace your wine."

"Can you crush grape over a weekend?" A smile

"Probably not, no. Did you need it that soon?"

"No no, A jest. Don't worry about the wine, my friend, either the sort I make with my mouth when I com;plain or the stuff in a bottle. Both will be replinished soon"

Jess puts a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you, Diego. Merry Beltaine."

"Merry Beltaine" and he wishes her well to

Jessica doesn't finish the ice cream, but does seek out Duff in a non-specific kind of way.

She finds him... at the head of a line of childlings and younger wilders...

He's using fine tools, nothing that pierces, to paint patterns onto them "See, this one is very popular at the shop... a hawk in flight" He tells a boy

Ellie is diligently waiting her turn!

He sighs "Yes, you can have a 'kitty cat'" He says to one "You sure you don't want a panther?"

The little girls eyes narrow

"Right, Kitty Cat it is"

The line does slow as people look at Ellie.
