Ariel says "They're REAALLY nice"

"Well, I'm glad to hear it. Now, you two girls need anything ?"

"Do we really have to go to school? I'm sained."

"Ariel, remember the 'would you rather be' song?" Clem says

"Eleanor, we'll talk about it. I certainly don't want to waste anyone's time, or resources." Reassuring.

"Yes.. and I don't want to be a mule" Ariel sighs

"Okay..."

"A mule?" confused.

Clem looks at Ariel. Ariel sighs

Then the satyr girl clears her throat and begins to sing.

It's catchy, and upbeat... an insidious adult trick

for there is a MORAL in it

Jessica covers her mouth.

"Oh." Muffled.

Even Ellie might find her toe tapping.

Clem looks proud "LOVELY"

"But I don't WANT to be a mule!"

Jessica clears her throat. "Well, maybe we'll think about school, then."

"I'm sure it's not going to be all study all the time" Clem says "But It is Freeholder Jessica's call on the details. Ariel, you mind her like you would me, you hear?"

"yes,Chief" Ariel says putting her hand over her heart

"Fine girl" Clem approves

"And some of the lessons might be more like magic and fae history and stuff too maybe" Clem says

"I think they should be, yes."

"....and swords?"

"OH, and archery for Ariel!"

"Archery?" Clem says surprised "Ariel, I didn't now you were interested in archery."

"I tried a bow but I couldn't move it and it almost shot me.." She blushes

Clem blinks "Wait, you mean one of our TROLL sized hunting bows? you tried that?"

" Uh huh" She nods

"Oh my, no wonderyou had trouble... " Clem says then looks to Jessica, then back to the girls "Weapons training is up to Fenix and such but if they need a right sized bow or something we'll see what we can do"

Ellie nods. "She needs a faun-sized bow."

"Like the sort you shoot, not the sort you kiss" Ariel clarifies

Clem snerks just for a second then covers it and nods somberly

"You know, Merida is a redhead, too."

"Yeah..she's okay but I like Ariel better. Still, it does mean I can learn the arrow huh?" Ariel ponders

"Nothing says Ariel didn't learn how to shoot a land-bow. Or knew how to shoot a sea-bow." Jessica points out.

"There are SEA Bows?" Ariel's eyes widen

"Well, she can learn any bow she wants."

"I would like to try, please" Ariel says

Clem actually looks a bit proud at that statement

Jessica nods. "I think weapons training is important for a well-rounded liberal arts education."

"And defense against evil dark ones."

"Well there you go" Clem says "tell me, Eleanor, what Hogwarts House would you be?"

"Oh..." Blink.

Brow furrow.

"Gryffindor."

"Hey, I'm a Gryffindor" Ariel says stunned "We got so much in common"
