The meal is ...pretty good!

"Nnnooo...." thoughtfully. "No one I met recently.... I'm not ready to put any of them in that position yet. I don't really know them."

A nod "Time will tell you" A sip of his drink

She clears her throat and moves some chicken around on her plate, thinking.

His eyes watch her.

She dismisses whatever it was.

"mm penny for you thought?"

Curious

"I was thinking about Fae that I met recently, that's all."

"One of them particularly interesting?"

"Mmm...." A sigh. "One I wish I could have talked to a bit more, but I'm not sure that's to my credit."

"Some people are hard to coax" He says "Particularly if you're a private person yourself" A nod

"There is that." She agrees.

"Sometimes I get a customer who seems to confuse me with a bartender in that they want to tell me their life stories. " A sigh

"Chatting can be a common reaction to stress." She observes.

"What's stressful about a needle going into your flesh to shoot liquid beneath the surface?"

Eyebrow.

"Mmmph. Fine. I suppose it might be a bit stressful for some"

"Your work is unique, though. I feel like I'd recognize it if I saw it somewhere, you know?"

She takes a sip of her cider. "I have fresh henna in my room."

"Really? We should apply some after this, don't you think? Since I'm here"

She nods. "If you like."

"I would" He admits

She is finishing her meal, but slowly. "I know it's taken years to learn your art. Lots of practice."

"It does. There are even apprentice ships"

"Did you do one?"

"Yes. " A smile

"But if you're wanting to hear about those days, it will wait for another night. Gives us an excuse for a nice dinner like this again."

He gets an eyebrow, but she lets it go. Maybe she didn't want it that much to begin with.

Duff notes the brow "I'm not trying to tease you."

Jessica nods, finished with her meal. "Ok."

He has finished with his "Actually, I could do a henna pattern similar to what my teacher did...now that I think about it" He offers his hand

She takes it and stands. "I like your own designs."

"Then I'll do one of those" His eyes read hers admiringly, "I rather like the idea of your body as my canvas to inspire me" and he leads her to her bedroom to..well, have designs upon her.

"I know." she blushes, but goes with him.
