"Mmm , besides Kerri? Olgar's cranky. Zane's been kind of distracted.... the new twins are helping the old twins out. Chief is busy as heck. Your father is fine, he speaks of you and your sister. I worry about Dagmar but she's good. Tove is coming along." A smile "baby is healthy"

"Still talking over names with Tove," He says "Dagmar is feeling kind of worried that, well, you know, she sometimes says it's nice we'll have a 'real' kid" A snort of disgusted at the real term, "LIke I'd trade her in for any other "

"But you all took the Oath of Adoption, right?"

"Exactly" he says "She was so proud of that Oath. So was I. But now she... mmm" ("She acts like she's second"_

Jessica shakes her head. "I don't understand that."

"Me either" He says a sad face, "I think I need to do something to make her feel special. I don't want her distancing herself just because another child is on the way. "

"You have an -Oath.-" as if saying it again will clarify something.

He nods "yes." Swing and a miss? Over that talll tall head

"Jaymes, maybe you need to remind her you have an -Oath-. I mean.... I'll never forget the Oath between mom and I, not for a moment. And she has an Oath with you -and- Tove. I just .... I don't understand."

"She knows, she remembers, but.. Dagmar is stubborn"

"More stubborn than you, Tove, AND an Oath?"

"Daughters are like that sometimes I'm learning" He says "I Love her. But I will remind her."

Jessica shakes her head again.

"Come on, I'll fill you in on what your mom and dad have been doing. "

Jaymes is not a bigger talker.

But he fills her in on the basics, and then more details if asked.

"Have to warn you, the wilders are talking about hitting your beaches come summer vacation"
