"It's ok." Jessica nods. "What is your view of the Nunnehi?"

"A fascinating political mistake on behalf of the commoners," He answers honestly, "Not that one should lump everyone together, but as a rule? I think the Nunnehi make many common kith uncomfortable because they did to the Nunnehi what sidhe did to them... usurped their places of power and expected those defeated to bend knee to the new ruling culture if not the new rulers."

Jessica nods. "Hypocracy stings."

"And we all practice it. That's not to say sidhe were always the best buddies of the nunnehi either, but there are reasons tribes took the royalist side in the Accordance War. I'm not scholar, but I think I'd want to study the history of the Feathered Serpent. See what feel I could get for how to respect the Nunnehi without patronizing them or kowtowing to every demand. Mind you, I AM a sidhe, so patronizing comes all too easily to me if I don't watch myself. I don't mean it per se, but it's just,m well, many of we sidhe are of a different perspective... time passes oddly."

"Clearly the Nunnehi are important, but I understand you put a high focus on the mortals. How are you dealing with the backlash from the locals against refugees, the Mexicans who treat the Houndourans as invaders etc? That's a lot of distrust to muse past"

"We have smuggled a number of migrants over the boarder, resettled them."

"You're just flat out breaking mortal law? I LOVE this" He grins, "Can I help?"

"Very likely." She agrees. They find the others and she invites the troll to talk.

Sir Brand joins her, and moves quietly.

They sit by the 'Fire. "Will you tell me of yourself?"

"I am Sir Brand of House Liam. I am, like you, a troll. I wish a place where my honor will be respected. Like any Liam I strive to protect Dreamers."

And he appears done.

Jessica nods. "What is your view of the Nunnehi?"

"It depends on the individual Nuennehi. "

"Can you give me general thoughts?"

He ponders, "Yes. But I think they'd be sloppy and imprecise."

"Go ahead. "

"If you wish for peace, prepare for war. That's an old and wise saying. And no doubt the Nunnehi have it too. I think when they come for peace, you must recognize it will not be with a flower in hand, but a spear at the ready. You may make gestures of peace on your part, but don't disarm your troops even if you disarm yourself. They won't respect that level of stupidity"

"Agreed."

"As for what I think of the Nunnehi themselves? I think they're veyr foolish. If they were to just demand equal rights to any kithain they might get better representation. Trolls fought hard against the sidhe, and we did well, but we also foguht for them, and when we agreed to the accord, we used our new found influence for the betterment of all. But there are lot of things I don't know about their tribes so I could be wrong and unfair"

"Lack of that information is one of my greatest challenges. Have you meet Sir Jack and Father V?"

"Sir Jack is here? I Haven't met him HERE, no. Father V I have. a ..kind man"

Jessica nods. "They have both been invaluable."

"mmmph" He nods

She tells him, as she did the others, of herself.

He nods.

Apparently he's not much of a talker. If Mitra were here, she might ask what it was like to be on the other side , with sly humor.

"You'll stay for a while, get to know us?"

"How long before you decide?" He asks after nodding

"A week."

"I will stay a week if you allow then. " A grunt

"I will." She stands. Be welcome, Sir Brand."

He salutes in the trollish way

She returns it.

And they part.
