A wistful look, but he watches her go.

She catches it... looks at him. "Diego?"

"Yes , Jessica?" His eyes bore into hers.

"No, I thought you .... something?"

He tilts up, and kisses her lightly, but on the lips, then parts "That. Jessica. I wanted to do that. "

She blinks.... and nods. "Okay."

a smile, "Go on, Jessica. Let this fool of a goat enjoy the taste of you on his lips and imagine what might have been." A chuckle "You have enough to worry about"

Baffled, she goes.

He chuckles and closes the door.

And she's back in the hallway.

Jessica scrubs her face and trudges back to the Balefire.

The balefire greets her.. a curious flicker of flame.

She sits and lets her fingers trail, connecting.

Oh.. the diego thing...

She lets her thoughts wander, share.....

She shares, and so does the hold... impressions, brief images. Her people are ... happy? Well, happier than they often are. There are still areas where hope dies. But she can imagine what it might be like to patch them.

Tweak's presence can be felt... tinkering with what she's been giving, working it.

And odd duality of iron... and stars.

The flames drift on... and then perk up further.

She can feel the Duke's presence. He's...fueling this?

The Duke's presence fades... does he have a hold yet? There was no connection beyond.

Dreams flow, but she can't be sure of who, or of the details.

The folks in uptown are alarmed.... no doubt Tweak is seen as a bad influence by the fae of summerstrike's leavings. And yet they were stagnant, at least she's stirring them.

The folks in Sunkissed Waves are feeling a pressure off them. They are a mix of recreation but also routine. Their varich lord should thrive well in the new order.

And the Pit...she can almost smell the sweat blood and power. It was a little dizzy with the loss of Symond, but it's getting its feet again.

Should she? Too late now, but she wouldn't say the Pitt is weaker. Just dealing with a shift of its own. Possibly Shard's influence. He didn't like giving it up the first time.

She heads out to the Pitt, Maul in hand.

She travels to the Pitt and finds Delphine, the satyress who ain't pretty , fights dirty, and has been working here a lot, "Hey Boss."

"Mitra is kicking Shard's ass..." Delphine says "Hey, don't suppose you'll take guard duty so I can watch the fight?" Hopeful
