"These be two separate things? One ain' workin' for th' other?"

"We think it's unlikely that someone like Summerstrike would use Thaillan."

"Summerstrike hates unseelie, Tweak. HATES. He wouldn't knowingly work with Thallian.. there is nothing Seelie in them"

Tweak sneers. "Wow, you kids sure ain' lived where I done lived. If he thinks he c'n use 'em like hunt dogs to take out another batch of the same, I bet he use 'em until he don' need 'em no more, then kill 'em off. Like cops in Oakhold."

"But..." She shrugs broadly. "What I know, old broad like me?"

A pause "Okay... my apologies... maybe Summerstrike is more fluid than we thought" Mitra says

A look to Jessica, "Perhaps I led you wrong, my liege."

She scrubs her face. "Maybe."

"I ain' sayin' it a sure thing. Jus'...don' assume he ain'."

"Jessica.. are you getting any sleep at all? I had hoped you'd dozed a little."

"Ya look like shit, B."

"Um... What time is it?"

"Six PM or so?"

"Mm. What day?"

Tweak snorts.

"What DAY?" Mitra says

"Things are a little fuzzy."

"Jessica... Tweak doesn't need us to get the Co-Op moving. And I can wake you in case of an emergency. Please, get some sleep"

"Aw, fuck, like that gonna work, Moony? You gonna have to tranq her ass."

A deep sigh. "Yeah. Ok. I know." She pushes herself up to stand. "Don't worry about the Thaillain. They will have enough trouble. Just focus on Summerstrike's patrols and incursions. If you find a link between him and the Thaillain... more firepower. Chimerical." She seems to be standing by the power of sheer willpower alone.

Mitra bows to the troll, "As you command."

Then she whispers "And... wherever Duff is, he's a survivor."

"Got it, B. Go fall on yer face somewheres."

Jessica doesn't have the wherewithall to look uncomfortable at the gesture, or the comment. "Wake me up in 6 hours." She starts away.

Tweak waits until Jessica is out of the room, then says to Mitra, "I figger time be kinda a matter of perspective, right?"

"Well, my house IS known for it's untrustworthy nature. Useful, that" Mitra says once the troll is out of earshot

"No shit."

She does semi-bounce off the door frame on her way, but doesn't damage anything. And then she's gone.

"A'ight, I get things rollin' wit' th' gunsmiths. I let you know what they say."

"Whatever they say they're going to be thrilled. I almost pity Summerstrike's men if he tries the direct approach"

A toothy grin. "You ain' wrong. Lettin' 'em off they chains? It gonna be a PAR-TAY."

Then she bellows, "CRAWLEY! You on sprocket duty!"

"What? AGAIN? " A voice booms back, "You know how many times I got to shoot my way to the damn park cuse she liikes THAT swing set best? Girl's making a murderer out of me"

"He's ...lying by exageration now, right? " Mitra guesses

"You gotta figger out which part th' lie, tho'."

She starts tromping out of the room. "I gots t' speak t' my peeps, man!"

"Fine fine.." Her man meets her half way, "Come on Shuri, we get you some gun practice in while yoiu with your old man. No kid of my gonna have weak ass aim."

Shuri giggles as she's handed over.

"Make sure she practice left-hand, too." A kiss on Shuri's head, then a kiss for Nec. "I check in. Don' fuck up while I out."

"Don't unleash the death machines without letting them know my shit is off limits" He says after the kiss.

"Course not. What yours be half-mine, an' I ain' losin' my half." She winks at him, then another wink for Shuri, and she turns on her heel and stomps out of the hold.

The spider pooka tosses the girl up a bit so he can watch Tweak go, "Your daddy be hitting that, daily, nightly, ever so rightly... lest if you stop acting like a crying form of Birth Control. Kay?"

Shuri gives no promises
