Treacherous SNEAKY Eiluned...

"I'm sorry... I thought you said to wake you up AT Six" It is Six Am... and Jessica has slept for twelve full hours

Jessica wass slow to wake, even at that, but now she moves with increasing alacrity. "Six.... ok." putting the lost time behind her, "Status report."

"No word from the Countess, but all attempts by Summerstrike's known agents to intrude have stopped."

"Is there coffee?"

"Already prepared, I take it you want it in it's usual tooth dissolving blend?" Mitra says

"Yes. And food?" She isn't picky. She dries off and grabs clothes to dress;modesty, of course, she speaks through cracked doors and privacy screens.

"Rosa and Maria are insisting on it. They have breakfast waiting for you in the kitchen. Eggs, bacon... energy"

"Can they bring it here?" Muffled. "What is happening locally?"

"They're hinting strongly they'll rebel if you don't have a proper sit down meal. I suggest you give it to them, it won't slow you down and boggans are a pain when they get sulky. Though if you want it IN bed, I can talk to them, " She says "As to update you? The locals are feeling their rowdy. Summerstrike's goons might have withdrawn but that doesn't excuse his poor behavior before now. Lots of the Unseelie here want to kick his ass and it shows. The Co Op is cranking out weapons fast. Tweak wasn't kidding."

Her head pokes out. "No use unless in self defense, right?"

"We'll have to remind them not to be provoked easily. A taunt might be enough to start something"

"Make sure that message gets out fast, please." She emerges, dressed for work. She picks up her mace and, oddly, a shield. "Ok, ok, breakfast but then I'm going out. Want to come with me?"

"I would love to, but I had night shift and am not sure I'd be at top of my game. Might I suggest one of the thanes?"

She nods. "Sure. Send whoever you think best, get some food and sleep."

"I will."

Jessica gets a large breakfast, and yes she sits down for it. It's actually a good idea. She's going to need the energy and she finds she DOES have an appetite.

She eats.... and then yes, eats more. At least a second plate. She'd planned on a burrito.

"Ready to go boss?" Coy DeBuke, her thane and fellow troll comes in as she's almost done with her second plate. "Dame Mitra said you might want back up just in case."

"Coy, hi. Yes, thanks. Have you been out and about recently?"

"On and off. " He says "It's pretty riled."

"Ok, our message today is calm preparedness, right?" She stands. "Thank you ladies, I feel a lot better. Ready, Coy?"

"Ready" He says "I figured MItra suggested me instead of the Caps as well, let's face it, caps are not the best at DEesculating"

A faint smile. "True. Ok, let's go." And so they do.

And off they patrol
