Alejandro nods "I'll be happy to do so myself. " For Daireann, whatever tehir faults, Hopsitality is SERIOUS business.

Jessica nods. "Thank you."

The boggan is happy to let the sleeping childling go now that he is safe, but Jessica notes that he is ..apart from the Unseelie refugees. She's seen that look before. Someone was put between honor and duty, obedience and kindness... and they picked the latter- aand paid the price

"Hello." she greets him, away from the others. "I'm Jessica King. How can I call you?"

"Emilio, Lady freeholder I... just emilio. We've ..well, I woudln't say met, but I've seen you before. When I served the Baron"

She nods. "Due respect, but I found the Baron to be a hard man."

"I had hoped he was at least honorable" Emilo says "But.. a child? I mean, not even a strong remembrance."

Jessica makes sure he gets a change of clothes. "Emilo, I hope you'll consider staying here a while. And the childling is welcome. The Pit might suit others better."

"Oh yes, please don't let the boy end up in place with fighting ... I .. i Mean, there's some noble things to be found but still just a boy. Are you sure yo'd want me, Freeholder? I .. betrayed my last lord. He.." He looks at himself "He tore off my lapels and signs of service. "

"Why?"

"Because I begged on behalf of the defense of the chldling unseelie. I told him the reducation camp was wrong"

"You are correct. It is wrong. I'm glad you stood for the childling, and I"m glad to have someone with that integrity as part of our 'Hold."

"Thank you. I..." a smile, "That means a lot to me. " Emilo seems relieved. Then sighs "Wish I could have saved the others"

"Tell me of this?"

"There's a camp, in the fief. All childlings who are found to be unseelie are... ensconced there... I would say captured.And they are trained by whatever means necessary to embrace honor and forwswear the unseelie way"

Jessica scowls. She moves away to call Dame Mitra over. "Please tell her what you have told me."

And Emilo does. Mitra's jaw sets. Her lovely faceflashin "Gwydion at its worse. And I say this as one who has served good members of the House"

"Dame, please tell me there is something we can do."

"A protest can be made to the Countess, on their behalf. You are, whether the Baron would see it or not, a PEER to him an equal."

Jessica nods. "Do it. What else?"

"I'm not sure... honestly Jessica, if Diego hears of this w'ell be lucky if he doesn't try a rebellion over there. And if he doesnt..." She frowns "Jessica... Summerstrike is creating what some might call a self fufilling prophecy"

"Sowing his own rebellion? True but can there childling survive until then?"

"What I'm going to suggest, you're not going to like" She says

She looks grim, but nods go-ahead.

"Spy. We need to learn where this camp is exactly, exactly what's going on, and if possible get evidence to present to the Countess"

She nods. "Believe it or not, I can live with that. Take charge of it, make it happen."

"I admit, Iam surprised. I'm on it" She bows and moves.

"Childling." Jessica reminds her, and turns back to Emilo.

Emilo looks surprised "But.. this is outside your barony. You.. you gain nothing politically ans squander your resources.. by..real politick, this makes no sense" He smiles "But it is a very boggan thing to do, if you don't find that insulting."

"It is still the right thing to do."

"That's what i mean" A smile "I.. the baron said you were a pretender, a lost soul who didn't know what she was or what she was doing. I think, Freeholder, that perhaps we are the ones who are lost. And while you're not always sure of who you are, you seem to know what is right and that is.. a beacon for some." Then a cough "Pardon, perhaps I am a bit of a kiss ass but I mean what I say"

"I appreciate that, Emilo. Welcome to Renaissance." She offers her hand.

He laughs at that 'Oh my. " But he takes her hand and shakes it, "Glad to be aboard"

Jessica makes sure all the new comers are cared for.

And it will take some doing, but Fenix? Fenix is up to the task. As is she
