Tweak bitches predictably about having her work interrupted. "Th' fuck we gotta have a meeting 'bout, anyway?" She redirects Shuri's toddling smoothly, putting a hand on the little girl's head and turning her away from exploring an electrical outlet in one unconcerned movement.

Necrospis comes in with a gun in hand

"It's crazy out there" Sir Jack admits with a frown

"Yeah? Ain' been out in a coupla days."

Duff says "Gang War.." A shrug

Nec glares at Duff "Man, you posta give a brother weather reports...what am I paying your gringo ass for?"

"It snuck up on me" Duff says

Jessica explains -most- of the points to her trip and meeting.

Tweak shrugs. "Whatever. Ain't no Oakland."

"Sounds like a walk in the park" Nec says "But my girls be in in this targeting range"

"I have no problem with people defending themselves." She insists.

"No problem, which gang we want to win, one dozen dead mutha fuckers by spider bite coming up" Nec says

Listening to Jessica's explanation, Tweak narrows her eyes, thinking.

Then a smirk at Nec. "Puttin' yer mouth where yer money is."

"Necropsis, I would like everyone to lay low, just until I get back. Old school changeling tactics."

Nec throws his hands up, then "Look, I got a better plan- we lay low, like, old skool."

"Brilliant plan, Necropsis" Diego rolls his eyes

"That works for me, Necropsis. Thank you."

"Aw, darn, fuckitall, that mean I gotta be locked in th'Forge for th'duration?" Tweak snaps her fingers in exaggerated mock disappointment.

Shuri claps her hands!

"I'll spread word out," Mitra says "The trods here give us some avenues, at least on the kithain side"

"Thank you, Dame." She glances at Duff.

Duff is having a drink

She nods. "Ok then. I'll let you all know when I leave. Thank you. See? Short." That to Tweak.

The crowd starts to break up. Duff puts his drink down and starts to head out

"Who you callin'.... oh....yeah...." she snorts and picks up Shuri who is about to start chewing on her fathers shoelaces.

A smile at Shuri.

"It's a fashion choice" Nec says as his baby mama gives him a look for leaving them untied again

"Take care of yourself, Bonita" Duff says, and slips outside.

Tweak notes Duff's departure, and frowns. "Hey, B, you and your guy call it quits or some shit?"

"Personal, Tweak." She points out.

The nocker rolls her eyes. "Yeah, yeah...."

Nec says "Relax baby, they make up sex gonna knock a few walls down they be fine"

Jessica sighs, pulling slightly.

"Right right, trolls do it by mitosis, silly me" Nec says "Sorry"

Purple-ing

At that point, Shuri pouts her pants, and the two parents go into an argument about whose 'turn' it is... leaving the freeholder alone, thank goodness

Mitra says gently "It's safe to breath again, they're gone"

"Thanks." Muttered. "I'll be leaving as soon as I get word. You ok here?"

"We've got it, " Mitra says "You're talking sense and folks appreciate it. I hope I can learn more when you get back, of course, but I have other rumors to tide my eiluned curiousity over"

"Anything I should know?"

"nothing concrete, but apparently you're not the only one who takes out Balor nutbars. Word is a witch and a warrioress teamed up in a grand game of masks to rescue a prince from some dungeon of doom, and that his crimes were so great that the Dreaming itself wiped out all that remains. I'm pretty sure that half of that is bull...but I'm not sure what half"

"Huh. Well, sounds like a good story, anyway." She nods in appreciation.

"Well, I'd like the secrets behind the story, but well, we'll see. " A sigh "In the mean time, good luck with your family. "

"Thanks." And, barring anything else, she continues with her day.
